As always, staying in JTNP is one of my favorite experiences. Jumbo Rocks campsite has the best views and is always clean with super spacious sites and friendly neighbors. Close to some of the best hikes and easily accessible to the 29 Palms entrance. Can't say enough good things about it. Hope to return soon.

Avoid #50 at all cost. One of the biggest problems was that there is a bathroom right next to it and it smells horrible. On a hot day, it smells like baked feces and urine. Anytime the wind picks up, itll carry the smell directly into camp and its noticeable. Also, all the other campers have to walk through your camp site to reach the bathroom. Im a seasoned camper with many years of experience, so Im not exaggerating when I say it smells horrible.

#050umm its not the greatest spot. Its next to the bathroom and parking lot and there is not any wind cover. It made for a rough night, especially when a car alarm went off in our faces lol. But at the end of the day, being in the park was wonderful. We made a friend, and the scenery is beautiful. We just need to plan ahead next time. The park is lovely.

Indian cove campground is nestled between cool big rocks. Very unique.

We stayed in Site 50. There is an outhouse adjacent to this site. The wind blows the odors of the outhouse onto the site or onto the car park location, depending on the wind direction.

We had a large multi-family group, and the group of campsites were perfect for visiting in the morning and around the campfire at night. Definitely want to have a pop-up for shade over the tables. Plan to get up at 5:30 for the sunrises, they are beautiful.

Jumbo Rocks is a fabulous campground. Well maintained. Miles of hiking. The facilities are superb and our fellow campers were awesome. There is not a bad site there.

A magical place. Wonderous plants and landforms, as if Dr. Seuss designed a National Park.
