Love this camp - its pretty crowded, but the rocks are sweet and it is central to all the good trails

We only went for a tour but could not actually make use of the reservation to stay over night due to other plans. This campground was just awesome to look at and we are sure that we missed the opportunity to stay.

Amazing as always. Tips for first timers: - (Winter) Arrive in enough time to build your camp b4 night fall.- Bring a shovel for fire pit. - Bring 3xs the water you think you will need. - At night or when you leave camp, secure all food, even packaged/unopened food. - Install rain cover in tent regardless of forecast. - Ryans Mountain hike is a must - bring plenty of water and your lungs.

One of the best camp sites at Jumbo Rocks camp, ideal for campers with kids. Camp site is far away from the road, neighbours on a decent distance, short trail is nearby.

Incredible sites! Staying at Jumbo Rocks was unlike any other campaign experience. The massive rocks surrounding you make for incredible mini hikes and desert and stargazing spots.

Gorgeous area and quiet. Loved our walk in type site where no other campers were visible.

Campground 14 was littered with trash and garbage. It's as if a bag of trash exploded in all directions. There was egg shells, bacon packaging, and general leftovers all over the table. We arrived there around 10pm, and spent a good 15 minutes cleaning everything up so we could set up camp. Once everything was cleaned up, the campsite was actually really beautiful. Coming on the night of the new moon made the stars really vivid. The ground was relatively soft with loose gravel and the surrounding rocks were nice and dramatic. It is a short walk to the bathrooms and parking lot. There is a camp table and fire ring.

Some of our camp neighbors were loud and playing music well past midnight. So if it weren't for the inconsiderate people, the campground would have been an easy 5/5 stars.

I'm so glad we were able to camp there for at least one night before the most recent shut down of campsites! Only wish we got to hangout there a little bit longer but we'll be sure to be back!
