A bit far from the main section of the park but a beautiful, quiet campground! There is a visitor center right near the entrance with a gift shop and hiking info. Campsites were nice and not too cramped, water easily accessible, and nice bathrooms.

Sites are well spaced so youre not to close to neighbors. Roads are in good condition and hiking trailheads are at the campground.

Love how most people are respectful of the area. Restrooms are clean but dont have light at night. Big dumpsters are nearby. There is paved parking on site for Car/Suv camping. A bench and fire ring is nearby. Gets dark enough to see the stars.

Clean camp site. Neighbors were great and respectful. The site itself is perfect for stargazing since there isn't too much around.

Repeat visitor so knew what to expect. Only issue is that I wanted to explore the Pinkham Canyon loop on a dual sport motorcycle and although the start of this dirt road starts right across the street from the Cottonwood Visitor Center no one there could provide any information on the road condition.

Only stayed 1 night in truck camper. Would stay again. Pretty quiet this time of the year. Had decent privacy. Enjoyed lovely sunset. Saw other campers on nearby trail but we didn't have time.

Loved my experience! This was my first time camping at a national park, and I really appreciated having the flushing toilet and potable water access. Definitely inspired me to visit more parks in the future!!

The no hassle check-in was great and the site was exactly as expected. The only slight negative was the closeness of other sites and the generators they were running. The generators did shut off at a reasonable hour so good overall. I really like that you can just drive in to your reserved site and camp. We used the dump site and the drinking water and both were very easy to use and not a long wait to access. The personnel cleaning at the campground in the morning were very friendly and helpful.

Stopped by the ranger station a few days early, to see if any spots were open prior to our reservation and was told to drive 10 min down the road to get an internet signal to book online! No signal at ranger station and they would not check for us. Towing a camper it wasn't convenient to drive 10 min down road, look for a pull over and then be able to turn around. When we did come back a few days later for our reservation, we saw empty spots every night that never filled. Sad! when there are people looking for a spot. There is no camp host, no check in place, we were told at the station check in was not necessary just go to your site. We stayed 3 nights and observed rigs too big for their sites, sticking out into the roadway, rigs with slides opened into the roadway, no one monitored generator hours, etc. Did see a ranger once a day mid morning and that's about it. Maybe they should really consider a Camp Host to oversee some things. Decently clean, but for another 15 min drive, go to BLM South and camp for free!

It was a great trip except for the fact the campsite next to my reservation was quite close. Also 2 carloads of young people camped there and they talked loudly until 11 pm. Then at 1 am, someone over there got up and there was more talking for about a half hour.

We had A24. Perfect spot. Close to restroom and trails. A great weekend getaway. Highly recommended.

The campsite is super clean, close to the bathroom but you cant smell it! Stars are great, parking is nice too, you could definitely fit about three tents here. We had put up two! It was amazing

We had a great time at cottonwood, are only problem was our timing it was very very winding. We always have a good time in Josha Tree
it is very quiet there.

Was amazing being in the middle of the park during the night. It got a bit windy - had to use some extra ties for the tent. Overall, an awesome time! :)

Nice sites with an awesome view and squeaky clean bathrooms! We will definitely be visiting again.

The location is great, not too crowded, very dark skies and having clean water is really welcomed. The spaces are small and cozy but there's plenty of room between camping spaces, clean and really pleasant. Will definitely come back
