This review is actually for site 24. I booked site 14 but somehow thought it was site 24. The nice young couple who booked 24 and arrived after dark didnt make us move. We already put up a tent and settled for the night. Thank you so much!!!!All these sites in low even numbers are on the same side as the bathroom. The bathroom needs a bit cleaning but overall the campground is very nice, amazing sunset and thousands of stars at night.

I stayed here for 1 night so I could see this section of Joshua tree National park. And I loved it! The spaces were very large and I could park my teardrop trailer with my car right beside it and had even more space left over.

WE would have appreciated a light on the bathroom which was difficult to find in the dark, and a more level site.We loved the desert and trails.Your reminder emails made us feel welcome!

The hike to the abandoned mine from the campground was really cool! Beautiful location. Perfect scenic stop on our way from Phoenix to the Bay Area.

Very nice location. Easy access to the Mastadon Peak trail and other beautiful trails. Clean, well maintained rest rooms, which is always a big plus in a park campground. Lax enforcement of generator hours and no-drone rules were a bit of bummer but we'd stay here again anyway.

very nice spacing of camping slots. Not usual boring squares, but some of the desert plants used to create a nice area. Pretty spacious too.

Not crowded. Star gazing was amazing. Bathrooms very clean. Easy to access in sedan.

The cleanest campsite I’ve ever been to. Absolutely gorgeous but in the summer it is HOT!

Super beautiful place especially around sunset. I stayed one night but it was terrible due to super strong wind during night. I couldn't sleep at all my tent seemed to be blown away. Tent camper should check the weather and you'd better sleep in your car. Except for that, every thing was just perfect!

Had a wonderful time at the campground weather was a bit windy but we were prepared. Hiked a bit. We will be back!

Several hikes starting from the campground. Nice, well maintained campground. And located pretty close to the visitors center.
