Beautiful, remote campground. I loved how there were some hiking options from the campground.

Wonderful spot to see the whole park. The Spring was an unexpected treat. Side parking is narrow but our little rig fit just fine.

Facilities and campgrounds were great! Early spring is one of the best times to visit and hike.

Not all campsites have good tent spots. 3 hikes right out of campground. Water is a treat in JT.

Loved this spot! You could fit two cars but there was parking! Right next to the bathrooms! I recommend

Great campsites well maintained.

The area is beautiful and we would like to explore further, but we had only one night. Only concerns were several camp fires during a very windy day/night, and lack of dark sky viewing from an rv with bright lights.

When Joshua tree np talks about the wildlife you might encounter, they arent joking. There was a huge ass spider just minding his own business in the restroom, and there was also half of the largest rattlesnake Ive ever seen, I dont know where the other half was. Wildlife aside, the campground was spacious and had plenty of room for tents. Bathrooms were close by and clean. The only downside was the size and orientation of the parking spots. Some were pull in, but the spot I had was parallel park - it wasnt an issue since Im a car camper, but rvs be warned. The absolute best part was just having the majesty and beauty of the park right at your fingertips! Im definitely coming back to this campground!

There are great hikes right out of the camp ground. and there are less people around then the northern part fo the park.

Beautiful campground and we especially enjoyed the hiking trails that originate right at the campground.

Wish we could have registered for a FCFS campsite rather than needing to go online to do so. Quite inconvenient!

Nice safe place with clean flush toilets. Nice hiking trail nearby. Place is kinda baron being 30-40 minutes from the main (more scenic) areas of Joshua Tree.
