The star gazing was top tier. All the roads leading to the site were paved, so any car could get there. The only slight problem with this particular spot was that since it was so close to the bathroom, you get a lot of foot traffic during the night, and it can wake you up. No cell service but a lot of people had Starlink.

Great views, camping area was clean, nice walking trail down to a small oasis, bathrooms were clean and fellow campers were reasonably quiet.

My wife and I both enjoyed the campground. It had potable water and flush toilets. It was within walking distance (1/2 mile) to the trailhead for the Lost Oasis trail and a couple of others. There were a couple RVs that ran their generators, but all observed the quiet hours. The campsites were spread out pretty well.

This camp site was a good spot to camp. Restroom was nice and clean. The camp site itself was very nice. I'll be back here soon, and might make this place my good too camp site when I need a break.

Great spot in the Southern Colorado section of the park. The hike up Mastodon Peak offers gorgeous sights of the surrounding area, as well as some basic rock climbing to get to the top. For those who want an extra challenge, take the Mastodon Peak trail after venturing out to the Lost Palms Oasis. It's about a 4 mile hike to see some beautiful palm trees nestled into the canyons. This rocky terrain features a ton of ups and downs and offers some excellent views of the Coachella Valley and the Salton Sea to the south. Be sure to visit the Cholla Cactus Garden too! It's only a 30 minute drive from the campground.

Clean restrooms, quiet atmosphere, nice hikes nearby, great wildlife, and even drinking water spigots. Loved it.

A06 was a great location that was close to the bathrooms, but not so close that it was noisy and loud. The campgrounds were easy to find, perfect for stargazing, clean (including the bathrooms), and we had a wonderful time! Bathrooms have full running water, soap, and flushable toilets. We have a rooftop tent, and the spot was perfect for us to back into the campsite with our car, open up our rear doors to access everything, and there was plenty of space even if you were tent camping. There’s no cell service, so just relax and enjoy being outside. Would definitely camp here again.
