Nice but tight campground for motorhomes. I, like many others, was able to open my slides just fine. I put a cone out just because i had one. Several trails right from the campground. Definitely going bavk.(32' class A)

Thank goodness I was camping in my small car! The parking area at my spot was not very big, but it worked fine this time. Bathroom was clean. I highly recommend hiking the peak there. The presentation by the Ranger about plants on both deserts was enjoyable and very informative. And it was a good spot to look at the stars.

There is no choice for not applicable. We didnt stay at Cottonwood despite our reservation. It was simply too hot.

Very, very tight spaces even for a 26' RV. There is no reason to use hundreds of boulders to restrict every turn. Good grief, it's not foliage it's just dirt!

Beautiful area with great hiking and biking. Be sure to hike as the sun rises. The shifting colors on the rock faces are spectacular!

The campground amenities and proximity to beautiful trails like the Mastodon trail made it the perfect location to stay. I love it!

Nice campground. It is a shame there are no first come first serve options. All sites are reserved and there is no cel coverage, so one is unable to even try to make reservations when you arrive.

Great campground. It's about a 45 minute drive to most of best spots of the park but it has running water and flushable toilets that were cleaned daily which is a big plus. Campsite we had on the south side of the A loop had great views out to the hills beyond.

Great camping. Saw rabbits and roadrunner around camping. Great trek. Beautiful sunset. We were able to make a fire, not too much wind.

I tried to skip the stars ranking. We decided to skip the campground. It didn’t have cell service and I needed to work. No fault of the campground.

Location and views are outstanding! Campground and facilities were usable, if unremarkable. Went during Labor Day weekend which had two issues 1) Noisy neighbors, folks talking and partying until after midnight, and 2) Did not factor in the heat - over 100 degrees during the day, so as a tent camper the site was only usable early morning and late evening. Next time will visit during cool months at non-holidays. Also, no phone service at the campgrounds! Of course the idea is to leave online life behind in locations like this, but at least basic communications would feel safer.

My family and I loved our stay at Cottonwood. You’ll need a flashlight to use the bathroom at night but the stars you get to see because it’s so dark are worth it. We took yoga mats and blankets outside to star gaze - 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Had a very nice camping trip. The sites are narrow but we were able to fit out slideout. For the most part, it was pretty quiet. Everyone respected the generator time limits and most other sites were respectful ( a few louder ones but not terrible). I'd say the only real downside was that it was too windy for our awning most of the time and there was very little shade. Luckily, we were gone most of the time and didn't have to deal with it much. There are a few nice trails there at the campsite and driving to more isn't unreasonable. Bathrooms were right next to us and kept clean (but at night, there weren't any lights so we had to use flashlights/headlamps).

Well-maintained, beautiful setting, close to trails. No phone service until we were at the top of the Mastodon trail! I didn't expect any service at all
