We should have spent more nights, what a special place.

Great quiet camping spot. Easy access with clean washrooms and RV dump and water close by.

Campsites are well placed. Bathrooms are clean. Views from campsties are exceptional.

The place was good but the landscape was much nicer at Jumbo Rocks Campground.

Lost Palms Oasis is a relatively easy hike that made the stay worth wild. Mastadon Peak is also a must do.

Sites are small and extremely unlevel, and the sites on the exterior side of the loop are parallel to the road, rather than back-in or pull-through. These sites do not accommodate slide-outs, but multiple RV’s and trailers were using slide-outs anyway, extending out into the road. The location is convenient, but if we stay here again (which is unlikely), we will be very selective about which site we choose.

Great location, with all the amenities you need.

Campground sites are paved but small, trailers and motor homes over 30’ will have difficulty. Facilities were reasonably maintained. Trails and activities are quite limited: there is one hiking trails to an oasis that is worthwhile but that’s it. It is less crowded than the Northern section of the Park but it’s a 40 - 50 mile drive each way to reach the trails and attractions there.

Beautiful park. Get outan hike, even short ones. Go find a Mexican restaurant—they are great in Tucsan.

Water spigot and bathrooms were great and dump and water for RVs very nearby. Great trails to take right from the campsite.

Great campground, and a great location. There are several hikes from the campground that are strenuous enough for seasoned hikers, but not so much that novice hikers cannot join in the fun. The place is well maintained and the rangers are helpful and friendly. If you have an RV, the sites are narrow, but we were able to squeeze in. There is no cell service, but the night sky, with no city light pollution, is amazing.

Very nice campground. Some trails nearby but unfortunately far from the main highlights of the park.
