Very great location. Super close from hiking trails. We loved our experience.

Note: The Roads are not that bad! They're not good, but unless you're in a Class A pusher they should be fine. I loved Black Rock! Beautiful campground and we had a beautiful site. The place is pretty worn down in general; the roads are rough and the bathrooms are too, but it's still serviceable. Worth a trip!

Black Rock CG desperately needs maintenance and improvements. The roads are rubble, the sites are rutted and unlevel.

Quiet, good place to go to see JTNP. There are flush toilets. The roads and signage around the campground are difficult. Bring level blocks. Beautiful sunrises.

Nice campground location - with ample cell service, flush toilets, great hikes, and close proximity to town. It's not actually in the park, which is a bit of a drive from there. The campground itself is in disrepair: the roads are crumbling and full of pot holes. The camp sites are rutted and uneven. I wonder why this is allowed to continue as I see similar feedback given from months even years ago. This is the priciest campground of all in the area. Maybe its just an unstable piece of land and unavoidable. Who knows. Site 009 is not very level, and close to the dump station, though it had a nice view and is located on the outer rim of the campground. I'd stay here again because of the convenience. But I prefer Jumbo Rocks.

Park is wonderful. Campground would benefit from investment in infrastructure. Whatcha say Congress?
The pot holes at the campground were craters!!! I didn’t see a level site in the park. I tried for 2 hours to level my RV, to no avail. I finally left and slept in a Casino parking lot along with 20 other RV’s.

Nice, quiet location. Had some problem levelling our RV as space was certainly not flat. Also trails could use more & improved signage. Helpful, friendly staff.
Very peaceful and quiet. Site #9 was not level for RV. most of the large site went unused due to being behind RV once we found a more level section. Coyotes howling in the distance were like lulled us to sleep.

Camp host was very nice and helpful. Gave us a good orientation to the campground. Office staff were professional friendly. Nice little store. Lots of info posted.
Other than the snow....the campsites were well spaced. Not real level. Dump station was an additional $5. We did not use the restrooms so can't comment. Fairly convenient to the park without being in the park.

We had a hard time trying to find a somewhat level spot at our site, but love how much room there is. Great spot.
