Our site was too close to others and offered no privacy. The abundance of the nature and the trail network easily accessible from the campground were the highlights of our stay.

Campsite was easy to find. Facilities were clean. Well appointed site with fire ring, grill and table. Nice visitor center close to trail heads.

Campsites and bathrooms were good. Roads and area around campsite for parking in pretty bad condition, very large potholes. Other than that very nice!

Great site location, close to bathrooms and nature center. I visited during the week so this was a benefit, but it may be annoying during high-traffic times. Sites are close to one another and there is little vegetation to serve as a barrier. I had no service when I arrived but somehow had full LTE bars in my tent, no issue sending texts or loading media. Bathrooms were clean. I do wish the campground was a little better marked overall, I arrived after dark and had trouble finding my site. Loved the proximity to trails (incredible views from Panorama Loop) but it is a bit far from the main part of the park.

Need to look for the flat spot to place the tent, some site are very close to each other.
We were there in low season so was quiet, the setting is just amazing, surrounded by Joshua trees and at night stargazing was FANTASTIC.

Great location! Very peaceful and beautiful, but close enough to town if you need anything there. Wed definitely stay again!

Great experience! First time taking my sister and brother camping and they loved the experience. Highly recommend staying more than a day to truly enjoy the park, there are so many trails! The Visitor Center has friendly staff and great souvenirs for the whole family!

There is one way to describe Joshua Tree and it's campgrounds...Dr. Seuss meets Lost in Space! If you have thought about or are currently thinking about visiting the park, just book a campsite already! It is like being in another world! The sky is painted with constellations and shooting stars, a true Cosmic Universal Lightshow (DS)...don't forget a good blanket and pillow :) Sending love and light! ENJOY!

Loved this campsite. Fun place that gives you the Joshua Tree Experience while close to food and shops in the nearby towns. Close enough to Joshua Tree Park entrance too.

This campground was really nice, quiet, and seemed to have a lot less traffic than the those in the center of the park. The trails around it are easy to moderate as well and my kids really loved it. Sure, we may have needed to drive into the central loop to see some of the more well known sights, but this campground was nice in that you don’t have to worry about people from outside that camp coming through it to see some of the sights.

Pros:
Nice views.
Clean facilities.
Cons:
Sites are crammed in together.
Far away from the main park entrance.
Unhelpful camp host.
