Great location. Incredible night sky views. Close proximity to some of the best trails in Joshua Tree.

Very nice campground with potable water and flush toilets. Individual sites have plenty of room and great views, surrounded by Joshua Trees throughout. Convenient to Yucca Valley and to the West entrance, too.

Loved this site! It was at the end, relatively flat, and close to the bathrooms but no so close you heard the doors. Would definitely stay at Black Rock and this campsite again.

Park is close to town so easy to get supplies but still feels remote with great views. Bathrooms were clean (bring a light). Staff were super nice and helpful. It is a quiet place to stay, very peaceful. I drove to Eureka's Peak as it is close, and I was only there for a short time.

Great trip. I was in space #69.This space only had 1 other campsite joining and it was in the back, so we had 180 degree unobstructed views . The bathrooms were close and they were very clean and well stocked. Potable water spicket was close as well. I would book again.

We love this campground, because it has all the beautiful Joshua Trees and two epic hikes (Warren & Eureka Peaks) right off the campground. Plus, it's quiet, has flush toilets, and is close to town. Drawbacks are that it doesn't have the big Joshua Tree rocks, and it's outside the park. But these are minor inconveniences that are far outweighed by its benefits.

Restrooms were clean. Fire pit with grill and table at every site. Dumpster is easily accessible. Road is rough on sedans. It was real windy on the day we went.

The place look OK it’s not the most beautiful camping I been but it’s ok for one night. The camping is completely out of the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and it’s not the most convenient location. The good think it’s very quiet. The ranger in the office not was the most welcome and not even give me a map from the campground or with amenities the place have.

This is a great campground, beautiful views of the park and nearly immediate access to Yucca Valley, which has everything you might have forgotten to pack with you. It has flush restrooms and running water, and they get regularly cleaned. No other campsite in J Tree will afford you this kind of luxury, but dont worry- youre still out there and have to brave the elements. Its a comfortable spot and a great place from which to explore the park.

Beautiful location/camp sites. The Joshua trees were even more beautiful than in the National park itself. Toilets were clean (flush) however strange constant peep/sound was present at male restroom

Site 69 is by the entrance road. It was still quiet. Its location near the restrooms made for short walks. It was perfect for camping in our Honda Pilot. You can see the moon rise over the mountains. Very dark for viewing the night sky.
