The campground was good. The problem is, in almost every campsite, the fire pit screen covers were broken, mangled, or had no hardware holding them on and the two halves together. The camp hosts fire pit looked brand new. Must be nice eh.

So wonderful to camp among the beautiful Joshua Trees. Quiet and clean.

The roads in the campground are in terrible shape. The NPS, historically underfunded, hasn't got a chance to improve things with the Administration cutting funding to anything and everything that the people like and use. Very sad, as the park is just going to deteriorate more and more.

At least for me, the camp site was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The trails were within minutes of the camp site. There are flushable toilets and a big dumpster to throw your trash away. This helps keep the campsite clean. Will definitely be coming back in the spring.

Beautiful Park! Facilities were clean and spacious. Bathrooms centrally located and cleaned it appears daily. The Joshua Trees are spectacular and the hikes in the park absolutely beautiful. When we were there in January it was a bit on the cold side and windy, but we still loved the area. The RV site was large and well spaced from other campers. We will return!

This was a lovely campground with lots of space at each site. There was plenty to do and explore (although the dog wasn't allowed on any trails). The biggest problem was the "paved" roads into the campground were all torn up and very hard to navigate with a car and a trailer. I can't imagine how the bigger RVs and trailers handled it.Also, the person who checked us in was kind of rude and not very helpful in telling us how to get to our site.Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay there.

Beautiful view, quiet, clean restrooms. Roads could use some work but they were navigable.

Great location if you do not want to go into the park to camp. Still has excellent cell coverage that can be lost inside the park. Locking trash. Critters will get at garbage left on picnic tables. Restrooms clean and stocked.

This was a clean and quiet campground in mid-May 2022. It got pretty hot during the day, but most sites have some shade from the Joshua trees. The sites are very spacious. There is potable water to fill up a camper at the dump station at the north end of the campground. A network of trails leaves from the end of the campground. Can't wait to come back during cooler weather the next time!

We loved how quiet the nights were and how the dark skies allowed us to see the stars so clearly. Some of the roads to the camp sights are a bit beat up and the signage to find your campsite was a bit challenging. It is a bit far from most of Joshua Tree sights even though it is in the National Park. Overall we liked out experience.

Close proximity to good hikes, great location and very chill with a great view of the sunset. Each campsite has a decent amount of privacy. We have a 29ft RV and had no problems getting in and out of our spot. There are clean toilets nearby.

Nice campground , but needs urgent upkeep. Roads are washed out and gone.
Please read notes, any 5th wheel over 30ft will have only a handful spots it can fit into.

Camped among remarkable (and sharp) Joshua trees and had picturesque views, a camp fire pit with grill and access to a decent wash room. Perfect!

Our campsite #48 was walking distance from the restrooms and next to the trails. Only complaint is the lots are too close to each and not much privacy, but everyone stayed fairly quiet during our stay. Camp host did a wonderful job in keeping the restrooms stocked and cleaned. I was jealous of the people in their campers and RV's as that weekend was quite windy and cold.

Beautiful location, not too far from civilization if you forget stuff, and the best bathrooms in any park. Hiking trails right from the campground are awesome.
