The campground itself was great. Located near trailheads for easy access, restrooms were sufficient and clean, and the visitor center was staffed. However, the campground was full of litter including the fire pits. Just so much trash. Generators were on very early, around 6am so quiet hours werent always well-enforced.

Family campground, bathroom facilities worn but very clean and functional, good value overall for a family weekend

I got in at 8:00 p.m. could not find the attendant to check me in, so I went right to my campsite. The site was fine, but the RVer across from me ran their generator all night long. Didn't get much sleep. Sunrise was pretty. The roads need repair, not enough staff, plus I really prefer the backcountry...

In amongst the Joshua trees on the fringe of town. Good water supply and toilets.

If you want something off the beaten track, this site isn't for you. Campsites are essentially on top of each other and less than 5 minutes from neighborhoods and shops. If you don't mind that, then the site is great. It has easily accessible water and bathrooms, great views, and great hikes close by.

Great location close to town but also remote enough to feel like you are in the desert. Well staffed and maintained with great trails right off the campground

Park staff were exceptionally helpful with a situation we had with our campsites. Be prepared for strong winds! Excellent hiking in close proximity.

Lovely campground surrounded by Joshua Trees. Campsites don't have many natural barriers between them, so not a lot of privacy. Bathrooms are well maintained and stocked with toilet paper and soap and have electricity. There's scenic hiking close to the campground.

The gal at the check in desk was very welcoming and informative! The camp host was visible and informative also. We could have done without the snow!
