nice campground, got to explore and hike nearby. Several well known rock formations nearby to discover. Restrooms available. No electricity available. Good campsite.

While the site was beautiful, the campsites were very close together. There was a large group playing music, drinking and being loud until 3am a few sites down, plus young children yelling at dawn in a different site. Not the most peaceful campsite, but a good jumping off spot for driving into the park for daytrips.

This was a great campground that had enough amenities to be comfortable (potable water, flush toilets, picnic table, grill, fire ring, but not too luxury so you feel like youre roughing iit a little. It was nice and quiet an the camping spots had great views. You can hike right out if the campground into beautiful wilderness. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the little gift shop was well stocked . On the flip side, the roads were hard to navigate because of potholes. The trails were well marked to an extent but not consistently.

Stunning views. The campsites are right next to each other, though.

Poor signage for campsite loops made navigating the extremely poor road frustrating. At the entrance of the campground there were cars parked half on the road further narrowing an already narrow road, a larger lot for the trailhead would be a great. Maybe include the campsite map on the reservation reminder if funds for improved loop signage is not available. The sites in this campground are very, very close to each other and this site has a bit of hike to get to the restroom unless you walk through other campsites. Perhaps retire a few campsites and have dedicated paths to the restrooms for the outer loops. Otherwise a lovely place with the beautiful joshua trees throughout the campground.

Quiet campground, easy trails nearby. Gets cold at night! Being warm gear, it gets windy.

Great experience and awesome campground. The campground itself is very small but the bathrooms were clean and kept up the whole time. Happened to be here during a storm but it didnt take away from our trip. They have a small but nice store at the site where you can get some cool stuff. We stayed at site 10 and it was surrounded by Joshua trees and the ground was pretty level.

Way too noisy, other campers had no respect for quiet hours. Zero enforcement. Left one day early because of it.

Sites better spaced out vs other national parks. Amenities close by.

The campsite is pretty easy to get to. The lower number spots start off to the right, then go up and around to the left counterclockwise of the main building. The bathrooms were very clean, just no paper towels to dry off your hands. The road inside the site is pretty beaten up, but it works. The sites are pretty small, you’ll definitely see & hear your neighbors throughout your stay. No too much shade, so bring your own shade. For $25, not a bad stay at all. I’ll definitely return to this location.

Joshua Tree has a stark and rugged beauty that I had previously not recognized.

The campground was perfect for the stargazing, which was our goal.

Staff and Rangers were very friendly and helpful, and I now have my Lifetime National Parks Pass.

On both nights our neighbors played loud music well past midnight. That really was a spur note on an otherwise great experience. It's a shame there's no way to monitor that and enforce quiet hours.
