Black Rock Camping ground was perfect for being able to explore the northwest portion of Joshua Tree, as well as go into town for supplies. A lot of Joshua Trees on all the surrounding hikes. The Panorama and High View trail were especially nice hikes. The ranger outpost is convenient and has a store inside and the park rangers there were very helpful.

Wonderful campsite right in the park. My partner and I did the Panorama Loop hike which was beautiful. Definitely will be coming back to this site :)

Clean and lit restroom. Close to campsite but not too close. My group had a great time. We would definitely return again!

The campsites were crowded and quiet hours were not enforced.

A full featured campground with running water and plenty of trail access in its own right, it was a delight to stay at Black Rock Canyon Campground

Good campsite - great location to very significant trail network, and good views of the surrounding area. I would recommend the southern most sites, which are the most secluded and also the highest in elevation. Lots of joshua trees throughout.Very close to the town, and the nature center on the campground was interesting to the kids. The only downsides:Our tent site was not that flat and has some big erosion channels through it.The bathrooms near us were a bit old/dated.There was no sink for doing dishes (other than in the bathrooms)About 10 miles from the main entrance to the park, which is where the big boulders/rocks are.Overall, we'd stay here again.

All trash cans in my loop were full and it was very windy, Next morning I informed staff and they said it would be taken care of that day. Other than that good experience
