Campsites are in even and roads in poor shape. No power sites available. Sewer dump tricky to get in and out of. No hoses for the water. Given the high visitation to this park, there should be plenty of funding to upgrade this site.

A very nice campground, of course when you are there you have to drive into the park, the Joshua Trees and rock formations are so beautiful, we loved Skull Rock and hiking up to it. We also hiked to Arch Rock, which was a good hike. A great place for dinner is the Joshua Tree Saloon, we recommend the hamburgers and fish tacos.

The camping spot was hard to enter due to a very large raise in the asphalt at the entrance of the site making it difficult to park our camper van. Unless one is very careful the bottom of your vehicle will scrape upon entering the camping spot. The roads within the campground were in total disrepair with lots of dips and big holes.

I was assigned spot 62. It was the most uneven spot out there. I used 5 blocks trying to get close to level and still was unable to do it. I went in and spoke with the NPS folks and they said I would have to call Recreation.gov to change spots. Thankfully, the incredible camp hosts, Ken and Cheryl, saw the issue and helped me out. They were able to get me a more level spot that I fit in with my trailer for 2 nights. Thank you very much to both of them. They were awesome.

Our stay at site #62 was great. Close to restrooms, site was level and water was close by. No issues parking our Sprinter van and had plenty of room. Beautiful view too!

Campground could have used a ranger asking some rowdy campers to keep it down after midnight.

Tent walls are thin!

Very nice campground with roomy sites and clean flushies. We loved our view and all the joshua trees around us. Got some great sunset pics with the trees! All the visitor centers were closed due to covid during our stay but rangers were available outdoors for questions and were very helpful. This campground is quite a drive to spots within the rest of the park, but turns out that is quite common with National Parks in general due to their sheer size.

Crowded, and other campers did not respect quiet hours. One group was talking loudly until 1:30 am. Bathrooms were clean-ish, though. The Nature Center was a big hit with the kids. (There is a gift shop.)
