The spot was great, clean and had a great view, clean, and bathroom were too far away. The fire pit was in good condition, the bench too.

Perfectly fine campground, good space and fire ring. Staff all seemed a bit grumpy, for some reason.

We arrived without a reservation. And it was night. Though there were plenty of sites available, there wasn't clear direction as to which site would be best for us. Possibly because of recent rains, finding the right route through campsites was a bit rough, both literally and figuratively. But we found a site that was level enough for us to park a 24' narrow gauge RV.

Campsites are a little bunched together, but the campground is beautiful and very well maintained.

Great site with good access to trails. Bathrooms were stocked and relatively clean. Tent site was flat for at least a 5-person tent and probably more (we were in a 2p tent) and pretty free of rocks. Water was available in a short walk. Fire pit had a grill rack and was in good campsite condition. Only super minor complaint is that the ashes in the fire ring had gotten really high and Id suggest a more frequent scoop out.

The campground is beautiful. The poor park needs financial help to refurbish the facilities. The roads are almost totally gone and the restrooms could use an updating, same for the pump-out station. The rangers are so nice and helpful and the hiking is spectacular.

Took my partner camping for his first time ever, and he loved it. The park ranger we chatted with was super friendly and gave us two great hikes to go on. It really is the best place for anyone new to camping, or those who require real toilets. Very quiet at night with beautiful stargazing ability.

I love this campground as I’m able to pitch my tent next to Joshua Tree’s. They have very clean restrooms too and friendly park rangers.

Stayed at Campsite #82. It was roomy and clean. It was just a tad bit windy when we went camping but we had a great time. The restroom was clean and stocked.

We stayed 2 nights and 3 days as a group of 3 dads with 5 girls ages 10-13. We had fabulous time despite near freezing temperatures. The best part was the park ranger; she was very dynamic and her excitement was infectious! Our teen and pre-teen girls didn't want to be excited about the hiking and viewing what the desert had to offer but couldn't wait to get on the trails after meeting with her at check-in. The campground is clean and the bathrooms are clean but it was a bit dissappointing that both the nearest restrooms and water station both were out of service. That said, we'd definitely recommend staying - just not near an RV if you're in a tent and prefer to avoid the noise of a generator at night.

Nice campgrounds, easy access to restrooms and a few good nature walks and hikes accessible from the campgrounds itself. Will definitely come back.
