The campground was very clean and had trees all over. The trails were also lovely and were right off the road for the campground

Enjoyed the campsite and it's amenities. There were a couple great hikes up the mountains right from the campsite. One negative aspect that we experienced was the camp host being unfriendly to our kids and scolding them and us, the parents, for sitting on a Joshua Tree. He threatened us with a hefty fine and eventually called the park ranger to come out in hopes that he would slap us with a fine. When the park ranger came out he was much more level headed and took it as a teaching moment for the kids, which should have been the camp hosts approach from the beginning. We saw much more harmful things being done to the Joshua Trees at other campsites, like hanging hammocks, that the camp host didn't address. While the sites here had more room than campsites at Jumbo Rocks, being surrounded by Joshua Trees and being scolded when a frisbee or ball hit them, we might look to say at another locations next time.

Campground was amazing. Clean flush bathrooms. Good water spigots throughout the camp and water bottle fill point in the visitor center. Good sites relatively flat/smooth for tents. Fantastic for star gazing or lounging or hiking. Just beware the squirrels will steal your food from your hands, not just on the tables or around the site. They are ridiculously brave. Was good entertainment for the kids though. Say hi to Bob!

This is a wonderful campground! I’ve been coming here for 30 years and it’s always a fantastic experience. The sites are very nice and the restrooms with running water are a big bonus!

We love this campground! It is beautiful (Joshua Trees are everywhere!) and has its own information center. We’ve stayed here multiple times and have a great experience every time!

Really awesome campground that puts you sleeping right under the famous Joshua Trees of the national park. Facilities are clean and well kept and the camp hosts were friendly and on top of it. Great hiking and views right in the campsite. Sites are a little close together but provide enough space to create separation from your fellow campers. Make sure to pick up firewood in town on your way in or you'll be making another trip as they don't keep any onsite. Be prepared for high desert winds at times. We will definitely be returning!
