Een hele mooie natuur camping met prachtige plekken en mooie uitzichten.

Campground is nice but the lady checking guests in was not.

Great campground just inside the National Park bounds. Camp Host Jim was amazing. My Doberman puppy just absolutely loved him.

We really enjoyed the location and the hiking trails. The campground was very pretty. The roads need a little bit of work, however. The Campos was off duty at the time we arrived, but he was very helpful and said not to worry and he took my husband in the golf cart around to figure out, which was the best way to get the trailer into our site since we have a little bit of a larger trailer. I would definitely stay there again

We stayed two nights. The area is beautiful. The hiking is good. The bathrooms were clean. The rangers were friendly. All was good except the sites themselves. It was incredibly hard to find a semi level spot. Large potholes on the road and crazy contoured sites. There are better places to stay in JTNP.

Campground was almost empty but all sites were marked reserved. Why? Reception when we arrived was nonexistent. Walked in and told them my name, OK. Youre registered. No maps. No introduction. Nothing.

Site 43 lacks shade but can accommodate 2 2-person tents conveniently close to the bathroom. Unfortunately, neighboring campers were disruptive, playing loud music and talking loudly past 2 am with a car alarm going off. It would be beneficial for rangers to patrol at night to maintain peace and address disrespectful behavior.

The area was clean and well maintained. The trails were not too challenging. (Which suited me just fine!) The only drawbacks were no showers and the restrooms were messy.

Absolutely horrendous. I cant believe this campground is even open. Completely washed out sites. Roads are all but nonexistent. Sincerely hope this place is on the docket for a renovation. Also the information on this app is lacking in every way. Go out there and measure the sites. Post the driveway length. Therefore people will have a better idea without being there in person. Ive been to tons of NPS sites. Cant believe I paid money for this place. Its a disgrace. Also let the rangers at the check in stations have the power again to switch sites on the fly. They literally cant do anything. Sometimes things look fine online, but in person it doesnt quite work.

We had a great time staying at Black Rock Campground. It was beautiful, clean, and the other campers were all very respectful. Great trails right from the campground to unlimited miles of hikes. Also, great cell coverage which was a nice surprise!

open spaced sites, not crowded

This campsite is a bit more tight than others, but each slot has plenty of space for each group. A more lively campsite which is heartwarming in it's own way. Good location to camp the night before exploring Joshua Tree.

The campground is in a beautiful setting, but the road is in disrepair. There were also a lot of BEES! which I am allergic to. I don't know how they can be prevented, so I tried to avoid them. The rest rooms were clean and they had running water and operating toilets! The staff were extremely nice and helpful.

We were at space 43 with our Class B RV. The campsite was good and we were able to get level. As others have noted the roads around the campsite are really bad and in need of re-paving. It was a bit chilly and windy when we were there in late April. The staff at the office was very helpful and friendly! Bathrooms were clean but did not have paper towels, we remembered to bring our own for drying hands. The hiking trails were well maintained and the scenery beautiful! All and all a great two days!

Loved camping midst the Joshua Trees and looking at the stars through our camper's windows during the night! Rattlesnake Canyon was a fun experience, as was driving through the park and stopping at various points to enjoy the scenery and some short hikes. The park was super super crowded on Palm Sunday weekend, so would recommend visiting mid week, and not during school spring break times!

Our dog came along, and for the day we wanted to hike, we used Rover.com to find a local dog sitter. Worked out great! Our dog was happy, and safe, and we were able to hike in the park since national parks are NOT dog friendly. (But, the campsite was dog friendly! Yea!)

We were a bit lazy, and since there are tons of restaurants not far from the campground, we ended up getting some take out instead of cooking. Made it very relaxing!

Lovely place with lots of Joshua trees. Have been here many times and am always eager to return.

We could not go to the Visitor's Ctr because it was never open, and the hours were not posted. Enjoyed the campground but the road was terrible, potholes, etc. No water pressure at the dump and the hose was so short it was almost useless. Apart from that the campground is a nice place to be, sites are roomy, good hiking trails and bathrooms were spotless.
