I'm reluctant to share my wonderful experience at this Campground. It's for season campers, not newbies. It's very light and quiet, and most of it is well-spaced out. If you come to a party, this isn't Campground for you. It is not suited for RVs or big trailers.Dennis and his wife, Terry, run a well-kept campground with clean bathrooms. They take pride in their work and don't tolerate any tomfoolery. Thanks be to God! This is in my top favorite campgrounds.

second time staying at East Fork. No bears this year! this site has a decent flat area for a trailer or tent aspens surround the site increasing privacy but little overhead tree cover, a popup tent would have made the stay more enjoyable

This is a beautiful high altitude campground with a combination of shaded and sunny sites. There is a trail that exits the campground that winds through the forest and ends up at Rock Creek lake. Bring warm clothes for late season camping. It gets cold at this altitude.

We were disappointed to learn that there were no campfires allowed, I wish that I would have received a e- mail before we started our camping trip so we could have made arrangements for a gas fire pit

We loved every second at this campground! Upon arrival, we were lucky that Dennis was zooming around in his goflcart and asked us what site we had reserved. We thought he'd give us directions, but instead he made a suggestion that changed our whole stay. "Might I suggest you look at the first come, first served spots before getting settled in your site," he said. Best advice ever! We ended up in a beautiful site right on the creek! It was the cherry on top of our Mammoth Lakes vacation. Upon looking at the site we had booked, there is no way we would have smiled half as much as we did upon taking Dennis' advice. The campground is pristine and clean and the fact that there are hiking trails right there is a huge plus. Rock Creek Lake was starting to showoff it's Fall Glory. It was the best! Can't wait to go back! Thanks Dennis! --- you're a gem!
