Campground was clean, including bathrooms. Camp manager was very nice and helpful. Some camp sites have more shade than others and so check out the pictures beforehand if possible for your liking. Trails are close and next to the stream which is really nice. Not many bugs. Bring warm clothes for nighttime. Would definitely comeback again.

Very comfortable campground, tucked into a sheltered valley along the creek. The hosts do a great job keeping the sites and the restrooms clean. Nice access to the lake just up the road.

Beautiful campground. Camp hosts work very hard to keep the bathrooms clean. Camp hosts were not always able to manage unpleasant behavior of visitors.Be sure to keep all food and toiletries and scented items in the bear storage locker, and close the locker door securely. On two nights while we were sleeping, a bear came through camp and pulled our plastic bins of cooking pots and dishes onto the ground making a mess. Other campers reported a bear seeking food in the campground around 5 pm.On Friday night, one nearby camper played music too loudly until about 11 pm; and another camper filled 10 campsites with vast amounts of lung-irritating campfire smoke because they were burning wet, green wood.

The campground was beautiful. Our camp site was awesome. The camp hosts were very laid back. Only negative, mosquitos and bear country. The Bears come through at night but do not cause issues. Experiencing this was a first for me. The mosquitoes were fierce. I will be more prepared next time. Will definitely come back to this beauty.

Wonderful spot to camp. Make sure to dress warmer next time - got below freezing the two nights we were there. Otherwise, not bad. Camp host was not as pleasant but okay.

The camp hosts, Terri and Dennis Huff, are the best!

First the downside, it’s hard to pick a campsite online here. The sites are very variable and might not accommodate your camping equipment. The positive, the camp hosts are very nice and helpful. They won’t shoo you away with “sorry can’t help you.” They will do their best to get you settled. The campground itself is beautiful along Rock Creek, with quaking aspens, shade and some granite peak views. Most campers I experienced here are considerate and caring. Great hiking nearby and close enough to Mammoth for a day trip.

I've been staying at East Fork for years! I love the cooler temps and the proximity to the lake and Mosquito Flats. I hike the trail to the lake every year sometimes it's a bit marshy and we have to turn around. My favorite campground!
