I enjoyed camping here. Vault toilets were ok. This slot is by the main road, so you may hear cars driving by, but it didnt other us. It is a little close to one of it's neighboring slots so you may hear them if theyre on the louder side. Otherwise, the creek running through the camp ground is nice. Plenty of trees to provide shade. The views of the surrounding mountains were amazing.

Well maintained campsite. Super nice host. Make sure you go to upper sage flat campground if you book online. There is a sage flat campground which is first come first serve (which has more shade but slightly further from trailhead)

Pleasant campground, campground hosts were very friendly and helpful, bathrooms were clean. Hike to Big Pine Lakes was outstanding with beautiful turquoise lakes as a destination.

i like upper sage campground
for north and south fork hiking. very clean camp site &
so quiet. also manager is very
nice and kindness. i will be there next year too.

This is a great campground with nice sites along the creek. Hosts are really nice.
