Beautiful campground. Clean bathroom. Amazing nature and hikes. Bring plenty of water. Our site was number 15. Nice site with driveway for the car. Not all sites have the space for the car close to the tent area. Only few sites have leveled parking. Site 15 has slight angle, so it was minor inconvenience sleeping in the rooftop tent. Some "walk to" sites seemed very far away from the parking. There was no host at the time we were there ( Memorial Day weekend) but there was no problems at the campground. Hope to come back. No phone service in the campground with T-mobile, but good service when hiking!

Through no fault of the Onion Valley campground or Recration.gov we did not stay at the Onion Valley site. The reserved campsite was inaccessible to our little trailer. We went down the hill and found a lovely campsite at lower Grays Meadow.

The Campground was closed down the morning after our arrival, and we have not received a refund.

Great little campground but not too much to do immediately around the campsite. Spaces are small and most larger type RVs will not fit. Open pit toilets only. Seems to be best suited for only a night or two max when passing through to go on hikes.

Picnic table & fire pit at site. Bathrooms were very clean.
