#40 pull thru spot but could park to block most passing traffic. Campground was totally full with traffic noise from highway constant and an occasional train whistle. It was a good location for checking out the dunes. Be prepared for lots of sand in your camp gear! The outer rim of the campground will give you some wooded area to enjoy.

Fantastic campground! The camp hosts were so nice and helpful. Very close to beach access on the Lake and easy drives to other parts of the park. There is a pizza food truck near the entrance of the campground which was great (cash only but there is an ATM in the adjacent store). Potable water on site to fill your tanks and there were water bottle fill ups in the campground and through the park. No frills bathrooms but the showers were clean with hot water and good pressure.

Great camp sites throughout this park. We got a pull through site which was perfect! Lots of space between sites.

I have been to several state parks in Indiana. This is by far the most abandoned one of them. The only good thing about it is that is close to the Indiana Dunes National Park. But that being the case this should be gem of a park where people from other states visiting the dunes should get a great impression about Indiana, but that is not the case.

What a peaceful campground! The campground host was very helpful and a wealth of information. We took a bike ride to view the "Century of Progress" homes from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and continued down the shore on Lakefront Drive in Beverly Shores.

Bathhouse and Shower areas were in great need of upkeep and cleaning during our stay in late July. Campsite itself was fine, reasonably level pull through.

Great campground. I was in the Douglas loop. Really busy on the weekend. Host did a nice job of letting some party-ers know that it was quiet time at 11 pm and they needed to start using their 'inside' voices. They quieted after that. Everything worked well. Showers had ample hot water. Dish washing station was a welcome bonus. Clean park. I had an easy pull through site that was level right away. No hook ups but I have solar so not an issue for me. Water is available on site. The host and cleaners do a nice job of keeping the place welcoming. Mosquitos were abundant. Beach is close by. The 1933 Chicago World's Fair Houses are cool to drive by and take photos. Lots of amenities near by and easy to get to.

We had a great time, the campsite was Immaculate and and a very level, the fire pit was clean, everything about the campsite was better than the photo showed, the bathhouse was Modern and clean with private shower rooms, we felt like we had a lot of privacy, we were located very close to a gas station and within a nice long one mile walk of the beach, which you must see the beach at sunset

The fact your team couldn't handle a "walk up" left us baffled. You should have the capability to handle walk up campers especially if you have open sites. Why the pain of forcing people standing their to go to recreation.gov to do a reservation for the same day.

Beautiful campsites. Wooded, with each site appearing to have relative privacy. Heated bathroom helped to take the chill out of some of the cold nights. Clean.
