We enjoyed the campsite we had reserved. It was close to the bathrooms which turned out to be a good thing since the water in our rental RV wasn't working. We made good use of the camp sink. The individual shower rooms were nice. Staff were at the bathrooms often to clean, resupply TP etc. Loved the open atmosphere of the campground.

Nice wooded setting. Good spacing between campsites. Convenient and clean bathroom and showers. Close to lake and other attractions.

This campground was amazing! Great sites, beautiful area, and the bathrooms were wonderfully clean and heated! I was a late October visit, so that heat was very important!

Not there is anything to do about it, but boy the Interstate is loud. Also, I am use to more responsible campers near me. The night I was there (a Friday) one group stayed up most of the night drinking. It definitely was not a quiet night.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at Dunewood Campground as we drove through the area. It was so much more beautiful than the pictures indicate! It was so green and lush in June. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We went to the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center and saw Lake Michigan.

This campground is beautiful and peaceful. Each campsite is surrounded by trees, so its nicely shaded but the light still filters through. Theres not electricity at the campsite, but the bathrooms have electrical outlets if you need it. I also really liked the convenient camp sink at the bathrooms, it made it easy to wash dishes. Youll need to drive a little way to get to the beach entrance, but this campground is so much more pleasant than the in-park RV campground, so its worth it.

What a great campground, We loved the area so much we decided to stay there again on our way back through the area. Clean bathrooms and showers!!!

Clean facility, including showers. Friendly volunteers to help with check-in. Central to most of the activities for Indiana Dunes, which makes it easy to get around.

The campground was clean and its workers friendly. I recommend seeing the Century of Progress Houses and the lighthouse in Michigan City.

Our campsite in Mather was perfect -- close to the bathrooms and plenty of privacy! We walked to the Catholic church for Mass on Saturday at 5 pm, as well as to the Ghost and Goblin restaurant and camping store across the street. Drove straight north on Broadway to access Lake Michigan on one of the several beaches in the park. Lovely time, lovely place. Excellent camp host! Will return!
