Spotless restrooms and well-maintained grounds generally. Large spaces between sites. Some traffic and railroad noise--but we think the trains are kinda romantic :-)

Dunewood was a wonderful campground, close to many fun things to do. The campground and bathrooms were very clean. Campsites were far enough apart to never feel a nuisance to any of our neighbors. Lots of mosquitoes, but what else should one expect near the lake in the summer. Altogether a great experience for our vacation.

Dunewood Campground is a great place to camp! Convenient stay for Indiana Dunes. The sites are well equipped with picnic tables and fire circles, but note that they do not have electricity. The bathrooms were clean and well kept.

Gorgeous campground! The sites were all very nice and spacious with plenty of room to set up. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Really quiet campsite and the sites were well spaced with plenty of trees in between. Well maintained facilities and easy to get to the beach or Dunes trails.

My husband and I chose to camp here for our 5th wedding anniversary, and our stay at Dunewood Campground was excellent. The site was clean and well-maintained, the check in process was easy, and the campground was located close enough to amenities that you weren't in a pickle if you forgot something but also just far enough out of the way to make a great camping experience. We're definitely planning a return trip!

Campground was clean and bathhouse was well kept. Kids loved playing in the natural playground.

The facilities were good and the showers nice.There was a lot of poison ivy. So much that we couldn't walk on the path through the camp ground. We had to stay on the paved road.Electricity at the sites would be nice to have.
