Even though it was cold, windy and rainy, we thoroughly enjoyed looking out at the river and being away from our house for 48 hours!! Well be back in the Spring!!

Fisherman's Corner, is a beautiful place to camp. The campground is spotless, bathrooms & showers are very clean. We loved the cement pads to pull the RV onto, no leveling needed (for us)! Nice picnic table & firepit (with grill grate), great shade trees. Beautiful view of the River, the locks, and we had a chances to see barges, going thru the locks. Lots of birds landing along the rivers edge, within the 'lily pads'. And the many 'lily pads' along the River's edges, bloomed while we were there, with their pretty, yellow flowers amongst the greenery... beautiful. The multiple Camp Hosts', throughout our stay, were very friendly, helpful & inviting. It's a great place for walking/exploring/relaxing. We had Site 007, we were very happy with the beautiful views, sunsets and activity. There is a train track, right next to the campground, where a train will come through now and again, I Loved hearing & seeing it, it was Cool!*(others could feel annoyed possibly by the noise when it comes thru, I didn't). All in all.... a Very nice, clean, friendly campground. I Will be back, again!!

We came to the area to ride bikes. The campgrounds was on the Great River Trail--it was wonderful to leave the campgrounds and be on the trail! The evenings were great with the sunsets on the river.

Nice campground but during our stay the Mayflies were hatching! Don’t need to say more about that! Site (7) was level, large tree for shade and some nice grass area at the back of our site was great for sitting and watching the river! Very nice hosts!! Clean restrooms clean campground. Easy water fill up at dump station near the front. Great bike trail !

Not much to do in the immediate area, but it's a clean beautiful park with a wonderfully friendly helpful staff. Everything most camping folks need. Recommended 10 fold.

Only 51 typical Army Corp Engineer wonderful sites, on the banks of Big Muddy, nestled up to Illiniwek forest preserve and campground, fishing at lock and dam 14, EAGLES, great white pelicans, attached to the Great River Trail bicycle path with good coffee and taco stops. Take your bikes and and enjoy the easy 12 mile ride to Bettendorf and cross the new I-74 bridge pedestrian lane and enjoy downtown.

We were heading west and stayed here 6 night's. I was intimidated because of no water at the site but there are many water spigots in the park. Can't leave your hose connected but bring a long hose.We visited Le Claire where The Pickers have a store and there is a nice museum. We drove to The Field of Dreams movie site which was worth while.

Camp hosts are attentive and professional.
The campground is easily reached by I80 so you enjoy the events in the QCA.

Nice roomy sites and great views of Mississippi River, including a lock and dam. Other campers were friendly and helpful. Lots of noise from nearby highway and train tracks. Odd check-in requirement never encountered at a COE campground before. We were threatened with “losing reservation” (pre-paid online) if we didn’t comply. Restroom and shower facilities were not as spotless as we have experienced at other COE campgrounds. Bugs, spiders, cobwebs on ceilings and new paint desperately needed on doors and outside railings.

Beautiful site- literally right on the shore of the river. Had the opportunity to watch some barges going through the locks. Nice sites, not crowded and well kept.

This campsite was a great stop to spend the evening as we traveled across the country. Only thing we were bummed about what the playground was closed because of the state's COVID-19 requirements. Other then that we found several things to keep us busy.
