Check-in is not straightforward. Asks you to call 5-8 pm but it's just an automated message saying that you still have to go to the booth. Also the only time to buy firewood which were small bundles compared to other campgrounds I've stayed at.
Highway traffic is loud and train tracks run right by grounds, so don't expect a nature-immersive camping experience. All our legs are covered in bites I believe to be from chiggers, even with lots of bug spray (which I get is not the grounds' fault, but be aware that it's an active area). The restroom with showers in the center was fine but the nearby pit toilet was not. Full of active bugs and bad enough smells where if your site is close you can smell it. Also, it should be in the rules that hammocks cannot be hung on trees. A ranger made my 12 year old sibling take it down while I was gone getting firewood. We wouldn't have even hung it had we known, even though we were using Leave No Trace straps. I suggest booking a site on the river side, near the center if you choose to stay here. As for me, I'll find somewhere else to camp next time I'm in the area.

Very fast payment. Great facilities. Nice quiet park. Good price. Knowledgeable people.

We stayed in a tent site, and there was no place to park our car at our site. (Parking was available nearby.) The bathrooms with flush toilets were quite a distance from us; they were clean and well kept. There was water nearby, but it was in other campsites and getting it was awkward.

The woman at the office was very helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed.
It was a great, relaxing, and organized campground.
I suggest one possible change: to have a parking place AT each tent site rather than as a group NEAR the tent sites. That fits my needs better because I usually stay in the van rather than setting up a tent. I could ask for a regular site and not use the electrical hook ups if they are available for my next visit.
