The visitor host and park ranger were beneficial and friendly. The campground was immaculate. We will be coming back again.

Beautiful, well cared for place right on the Mississippi. COE campgrounds are always great and this is no exception. Though there are no water hook ups at each site there are well placed spigots that make it easy to fill after setting up. Just need a few lengths of hose. We return here often for two weeks at a time.

Clean park, well kept gassy areas and playground. Walk or bike trails are good.

Absolutely loved this spot, was just passing thru for the night and it was perfect. Oh and the bathrooms were clean and stall big enough, with showers. The spot was nice and long so i could leave my truck attached to my trailer. Some places charge you 10x the money for this

This campground has volunteer hosts now, even though the website said the booth was manned. It would be nice to have online check in as well. The river is beautiful here. We were here for one night only, so we just looked at fireflies. In the morning, we watched the pelicans before we left. I would stay again.

This campground is one of our favorites! We enjoy walking through the grounds and down to the Lock and dam just a short walk away. We ride our bikes upriver and downriver on the bike trail.This time we ate one meal out at a nearby restaurant, The Brothers Family restaurant and it was great!Very clean and well kept campground!

A large variety of site lengths so be sure to give your vehicle measurements when searching. Really enjoyed watched the barges go through the Lock. Close to bike trails. Showers clean although hot water limited.

This is a beautiful location for birding on the Miss. R. The pads are smooth asphalt and level and easy for RVs. Lots of shade. Train tracks next to campsite. A bit loud but infrequent. Easy access just of I-80.

One of our favorite COE campgrounds. Excellent bike trail running up and down river. Also Illiniwek Forest Preserve nearby with hiking trails. We really enjoy watching the tugs and barges go through the lock. Campground is usually quiet, however some highway sounds, also railroad tracks running by with toots and whistles. Well maintained. Some sites do not allow view of the Mississippi.Some noi

On the Mississippi River with beautiful sunsets. Quiet, peaceful. 50 amp electricity but no water or sewer at the sites. Online reservations are easy to make. The Great River Trail for biking, walking runs along the campground. Can bike to Molene for dining or visiting the John Deere Pavilion. Across the river from LeClaire, Ia for shopping, brewery, distillery. River Boat Twilight and the home of the American Pickers. Short, easy drive to Lavender Crest Winery. Golf courses across the river in Davenport, Bettendorf. Close to Augustana College in Rock Island--a plus for us since our grandson attends there!!
