Very conveniently located for an overnight stay on our way west. The view of the dam and river were great. Will make it a point to stay longer on our way back through.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful! The bathrooms are always clean and the park is very quiet and well maintained! Love Fishermans Corner!

We loved this little campground. Just stayed a night passing through but definitely on our list of places to stay for a quick weekend get away or as a stop as we travel through the area.

From our campsite, we were able to watch barges lock through on the river, and pelicans fishing off the dam. We rode on the 62 mile Great River Trail that runs past the campground. Restrooms and the entire facility were very clean. A great stay! The only caveat - there is some road noise, and there are a couple of trains per day that run within 75 yards or less from the campsites.

Campground is older, but very well maintained. Facilities are clean and function as they should. Campground hosts and hostesses do their jobs very well. Expected to be inundated with mosquitoes; but, did not see even one throughout our 6 night stay (although there were a few flies that made themselves well known). If we were in the area, we would use this campground as a regular.

One of the best kept secrets along the Mississippi River. Don't want to speak too highly, or we will never get in. One of the most beautiful sunset locations on the river. Only complaint is we wish they would clean the showers a bit better, room for improvement there. Great breakfast just down the road at "Brothers" restaurant. Love camping here, look forward to it every year.

Nice quiet centrally located to the activities we were participating in. Easy to find, right off the highway. Interesting fact, my dad grew up right across the highway from this campground which was not there at that time. Depending on which site, some of them are interesting/challenging to back into, and you have to watch which site you choose if you are a longer unit. Nice view from most of the campground of the river. It was neat to watch the barges go down the river and into the locks. The locks are within walking distance along a nice bike/walking trail.

Stayed at Fishermans Corner as a home base to explore the area... Visited the John Deere combine plant, the John Deere Pavilion and made our way to La Claire IA to see the American Pickers store and the Buffalo Bill museum. Capped off our visit with a dinner cruise on the river.Really enjoyed the quiet evenings on the riverbank watching the barges and tugs navigating the locks... wish we could have stayed longer...All facilities were clean, power was steady, and water hydrant was accessible from our site. The site was riverfront and plenty deep to accommodate our truck and travel trailer. Really great site at a really great price. Highly recommend.
