Our campsite was moderately private for an RV site in a state campground. The campsite was clean, and as promised. Water spigots were nearby, but no utilities to this site. Clean bathrooms were also nearby, serviced twice per day, with free hot showers and flush toilets. Water pressure and temperature were good.
Situated on a beautiful beach, with a day use area too. Vault toilets were adjacent to the beach. There is also a boat ramp and a few docks, as well as a beautiful stream, and nature trails.
We saw a few Bald Eagles, and a few Ravens there. There is a large asphalt parking area, with striping, for vehicles and boat trailers by the boat launch. Other amenities include a playground for kids, and volleyball nets. You can buy ice cream and fuel (non-ethanol super) at the store but know that the hours for the store are limited, so if you are playing on the water, you might want to note the hours. You cannot buy fuel after the store closes. The store closed at 4 when we were there. It has plentiful merchandise, priced accordingly to campgrounds.
Our RV is 27 feet, and we are about 47 feet from the front of the truck to the back of the RV. We chose this site as it was the only one available that we could fit in for the days we wanted to camp. t was a bit snug for our rig. There are sites that are paved with asphalt, and others that are only gravel. Most are paved. They have sites with sewage, water and power, sites with just electric and water, and sites with no services to the site. There are several shower/flush toilet buildings in the campground.
There is also an RV dump station, and its usage is included in your campsite fee.
The camp hosts are excellent.
It is a very family-oriented campground, so be careful of the littles having fun.
We plan on returning to this campground but planning ahead to reserve a site with power. Quiet hours are 10 pm-7 am, and it would be nice to be plugged in. People were respectful of the quiet hours throughout the campground.
I will post some pictures in the near future.
Internet was nonexistent for us, but we were able to get a few text messages while wandering about.
