The location was great. We could see the water from our site, there was a water spigot within feet, and the bathrooms were close yet still private. The bathrooms/shower were very clean as well as the dishwashing station. We love staying at Springy Point and will again! The only thing to be mindful of is that the water to swim in is murky because the bottom is mud. The sandy beach is nice, though too.

Lots of gravel and dust. No good places to walk. Beach area small with dirt instead of sand. Water great. Shallow swim area roped off. Little kids love it. Women's shower not operational - out of order. Do not know about men's. Many staff members patrolled regularly so felt safe. Sites were quite tight. We were in a small 24' motorhome in space 26. Had we pulled to the rear we would have joined our neighbors but instead parked in front of the long driveway. In many other sites you are basically sharing with your neighbors.
