We have enjoyed several trips to Macks Creek this summer. A few with family and some with friends. Generally we go to the kids beach because of our grandchildren. This last trip with my friend was on the other side. Im so impressed with the stairs! Didnt know they were there. Thank you for making it much safer for us.

View and ambience is gorgeous and lake is warm in July. Seems like a hidden treasure for out-of-staters like us. Our expectations were middling before we arrived and Mack’s Creek over performed - big time. There were somehow no mosquitoes, but a local told us that wasn’t normal for July. No good drinking water on site so make sure you bring some. Boise is only 30m drive if you need anything.

Mack's Creek is the perfect place for our entire family. We enjoy camping, paddling on our paddle boards, and boating on Lucky Peak reservoir. The beach area is perfect for the little kids to play in the sand.

Beautiful setting but then you turn around. Sites are close and are awkwardly set up. You could smell the bathroom throughout the tent area. Even for a Monday it was packed with loud kids all night. The price is fine but not a relaxing spot in any way.
