Really lovely small campground. The lower loop is essentially the whole campground. I think the upper loop is only a large group site. Every site seems to have views of the lake. We stayed for 2 nights in #7 and 1 night in #14. 7 was probably a better site (essentially on the water, albeit down a long steep ridge), but 7 has a slightly steep walk to your parking. Wasn’t an issue for us. Harrison, a very small town is nearby (don’t skip the ice cream there). There is a short, but steep trail to 2 docks for fishing and swimming. Would very much stay again.

Quiet campground. Some sites in the lower loop sit on a small ridge that overlooks the lake. These sites are fairly close together with little privacy. You will see and hear your neighbors. Be mindful that every word you say will likely be heard by the people in the site next to you. ?? I stayed a single night in site 7, and the other campers were *mostly* quiet and respectful. Aside from that, the sunset views were spectacular, and cell signal on Tmobile was strong enough to work remotely for a bit. I didn't have enough time to take my SUP out, but the day use dock area is on the south end of the lower loop. There is a trail from the campground/parking down to the water that is fairly steep, so come prepared with appropriate footwear if you plan to carry a boat down.

Hate to share such a great review...It's everything you want...on the water, remote yet close to town, relatively private sights...One of my favorite campgrounds...and I get around!

A little dusty. Nice restrooms. Great access to the lake. Camp sites are close together.

Our family had a great time split between 3 camp sites. Having the lake view was wonderful, and we even brought a boat to the dock. The hike down to the private dock area was a little too steep for the 88 year old senior in our group, but the rest of us managed just fine. This is definitely a CDA Lake campground we will return to!
