Typical National Forest campground, large sites, great location. Never saw park management during our entire stay.

We were coming from the UP - going back to the metro Detroit area. We wanted to stop and rest somewhere before driving back home.This place was one of the best camping grounds weve had. More privacy - all the spots had a distance between each other, cozy spots with bonfire pits, and the closer to the lake, the better. Our spot was the closest #7.I will come back for sure!

Previous reviews said there were a lot of problems with generators running late at night, and a lot of mosquitoes. Thankfully we did not experience either of these issues.

We stayed in site 7 which is the best lake view site in that loop. The campground was very quiet, there were only three sites full. The campground was very clean. Did not use the outhouse so cannot report on that. Great place to relax.

Secluded, spacious sites with trees and many were on the lakes.

Our family has been going to round lake since 1983! This was one of our worst trips. The gypsy moth worms so bad we couldn’t sit or eat outside!!! The droppings from them covered everything and the worms themselves were all over!! Something needs to be done or we’re going to find another place

Nice small campground that was clean and well cared for. The lake is awesome and it is close to a lot of fun things to do. We will probably go back.

Always love staying at Round Lake. Love that you can drop a boat in and fish or paddle around in a kayak, pretty easy to keep an eye on the kids. The campsites are large with plenty of room for an extra tent and the out house has been clean in the camping area, sometimes by the boat launch it's a bit stinky. But I guess that is camping. Great place to take the family!
