The group sites are small, they say you can fit a bunch of people like up to 22. And there is no way. Unless 20 of them are children.
The overall appeal of the land gave it 5 stars alone. You are in the middle of a beautiful forest and the lake itself is very clean. Beach was nice. Swimming area is a little small. But it was perfect during our hot hot days.
Tons of trees equal.great opportunity for shade. We strategically places our tents in shade to get s little bit more out of a morning.
Unfortunately, my group of campers got a little loud. And i mean it was a friday night at midnight, but there was a bunch of campers on the back loop that complained about our noise levels. While they have been there for 11 days prior.
If you sell group sites, make sure everyone knows that groups don't necessarily go to be at a designated time. We are all grown, and some lady called the cops... needless to say, the police were asking us which site they called on!
Laughing historically aloud i said, yeah, its us. Sorry we are just waiting for the fire to die out.
Again the next night, SATURDAY IN SUMMER IS NORTHERN MICHIGAN, A awesome gentlemen named randy came by. He said keep the noise levels down. He was extremely respectful about the entire thing.
Soo if you go, make sure you have your own little world, and keep away from Karen's. Cause man, it ruined my weekend a little bit.
8 of 10 overall. The sites have grills attached to the fireplaces. Fireplaces are perfect. Wood near by is cheaper. And burns without popping
24 bucks lasted us all of 2 nights.
Gas station down the street has a dollar newspaper and a free coffee. Plus all the necessities you need at the awesome get everything you need from one store.
The DUBLIN GENERAL STORE IS A 20 OUT OF 10.
