Great place to stop if you're planning a canoe/camp trip down the Pine River.

Cant express enough how great our experience was. Everything was beautiful, and were blessed to have found this gem of a campsite. The highlight of our trip was meeting Dennis the campground manager. Dennis was very kind to us, and truly made our experience that much better. Very helpful and good man. We cant wait to go back.

Well shaded sites right next to the river or a short walk to it. Not a ton of sites, so not a ton of people to deal with. Stayed fairly quiet when we were there in June.Came here to drive up to sleeping bear dunes (scenic 1 hour drive, so not too hateful) and canoed Pine River with Pine River Paddle Sports, which is basically just across the street! They offer a shuttle or just let you rent the boat and take it with you for the day (or more). I wish there was showers, but bathing in Lake Michigan with some biodegradable soap or using the sink in the bathroom to freshen up are two pretty ok options.

Tent camp site # 9. Large site. I could have parked 2 cars and put my 10 x 10 tent on just the asphalt pad. Site was well maintained with plenty of dirt space for tent, screen tent, assorted chairs and such. Space to put a hammock as well. Bathroom was clean (no shower though - only negative). There are also lots of vault toilets' that I did not use. Camp host was GREAT. He watches the campground to greet all people, tells all the rules, how to maintain clean water in the campground, answers questions, tells you where you can go to get a shower, tells people who are not supposed to be there to leave. Only reason not 5 stars is no showers onsite. Would I camp here again. YES.

This is a beautiful setting, where relaxing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river washed away all the anxiety one may have! Next time I will definitely bring the kayaks!

Very clean campground, probably the cleanest we've ever stayed at. This is due to the most attentive host that we have ever encountered, Dennis went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. The only reason that I only gave the campground a "good" rating is because of the noise as traffic crossed the bridge. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

THe host was great. Grounds and flush toilets were spotless. The river was a little on the cold side.

The camp host Dennis was so helpful. He offered me bottled water because the water could not be turned on yet but I had brought my own bottled water. He loaded and unloaded my generator for me. Which was over and above. Site was clean. Quiet campground!

Peterson Bridge is a lovely wooded campsite next to the river with sites that are a good size and enough space between sites. There are pit toilets but also one large bathroom with hot water, and it was very clean and pleasant. We would be glad to get back there someday.

Great little spot. Nice, paved camper spots. Private. Camp host was visible and helpful. Stayed two nights - kayaked the Pine River (highly recommend doing this, permit required_.

I feel that without having a way to communicate with anybody including calling 911 is highly dangerous. We actually left early because of a medical emergency we were having. But if we needed to call 911 we would have had to leave the campground to do it and that's not safe.

Very personable host who took the time to go over all the concerns of the park. Bathrooms were very clean and welcoming.

Now if only there could be something done about the mosquitoes.

Great campground with great campground hosts. Very private rustic sites with one flush toilet available. Was at this campground over 17 years ago and enjoyed our recent visit. Will definitely return

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
