Great campground

It was our first time camping in Michigan. The park was clean, and they had our name on the reserved area. Water was available and the sight was clean. My only complaint is that Saturday night, there was some loud music from one of the sights. The sign stated no noise after 10:00. The canoe trip was amazing and we got picked up in our campsite, it was a great experience!

Fortunately, we had a quiet spot on the low- numbered sites of this beautiful setting. On the high numbered end there was a HUGE campsite full of yearly floating friends who met up here to camp together. There must have been a dozen people on this site partying long into the night. No such thing as 10:00 quiet hours. Otherwise, I recommend the local Baldwin Canoe Livery —they are attentive and accommodating. Campground Host Steve was welcoming, too. Just hope it’s a quiet week and you’ll love the place.

Over all a very nice site but room for improvement. They had fences on both sides and a sign post opposite the site making it nearly impossible to back my 43 ft toy hauler in. The back needed to swing wide where the fencing was even though i did not need to put a tire off the pavement. The trees were not trimmed sufficiently along the loop to prevent from hitting the camper or vehicles. Bathroom facilities were clean. The sign posts opposite my site. Should be placed in pvc pipe to allow temporary removal while parking
