Just a short drive from Las Vegas. It is an entirely different place up there. Beautiful mountains and a quiet campground.

Very nice campground, not a huge RV farm, a nice cozy campground with plenty of space.

We scheduled our trip for NYE after we were there for Halloween. Only to get rained on continuously throughout our stay. The elements of nature are undefeated! We got a story out of it and we'll come back in April when the weather is a little nicer.

Overall, the experience was very pleasant and the place itself is very welcoming. Mount Charleston is always a beautiful and relaxing destination to spend a few days in an RV. The only small drawback was our interaction with the gentleman at the entrance (I dont recall his name), who seemed a bit less approachable than expected. Aside from that, everything else during our stay was enjoyable and we truly appreciated the environment.

Beautiful setting...small and quiet. All sites have electric, but no water or sewer hook-ups. Enjoyed the privacy.

1. Check-In Upon arrival, we found our access blocked by an employee named Bob, who placed a traffic cone in front of the entrance. When I informed him that I held a reservation, he appeared skeptical and called to Liz to verify that my name was on the list. Once confirmed, Bob informed me that the power had been out all day and, consequently, campfires were prohibited. Neither I nor my party had received any prior notice of this restriction. When I expressed concern, Liz stated that she had assumed I would learn of the outage from local news broadcasts. I'd checked the website and there was no notice.2. Inadequate Notification of Power Status Although Bob subsequently advised that power had been restored for now, he could not specify how long it would remain on, nor how we would be alerted should it fail againsimply remarking, Oh, youll know. As many guests are employed during daylight hours, reliance on news reports alone is neither practical nor sufficient. 3. Nighttime Construction and Disruption Bob and Liz then informed me that construction crews and power trucks would be operating near our campsite. They did not define near nor indicate a timeframe. In fact, the vehicles were parked immediately adjacent to our site, and the crews worked throughout the night, shining headlights directly into our tent and generating continuous noise. After approximately two hours of attempting to rest and shouting above the equipment, we vacated the sitedespite having paid nearly $80 for that nights stay. 4. Post-Departure Response When we discussed these issues with Bob, he stated he was a third party with no authority to issue refunds or otherwise assist.

Camp host was very helpful & friendly. We only stayed one night but would come back again. The camp sites felt very private with the trees and natural landscape.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fletcher View Campground. The sites are large allowing for privacy, the tent sites are flat and large, the driveways and RV parking are smooth, even though the road is near it was very quiet at night, and the whole place was extremely clean. One can walk to three hikes from the campground. There is electricity but no water or sewer hookups.

First of all, the camp hosts Liz and Bob were fantastic. Our site wasnt vacated on time, and they went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. We ended up getting the site we reserved, and it was beautiful. The site and all the amenities were clean and well maintained. The restrooms were the cleanest weve EVER seen at any campsite. We will be back.

Always a great stay at Fletcher. A little warm this year compared to last, but still 30 degrees cooler than home (Las Vegas).Would love to see a water fill station at the entrance someday, and if possible a dump too. We love escaping here, just wish we could stay longer.

Camp hosts were great, they had our site shoveled out for us before we got there so the kids could have fun in the snow rather than spending the whole time shoveling.

My group and I spent two nights here, and it's one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've been to within the surrounding areas. It's clean, has great amenities, and I adore the trails that lead directly from the campsite and up the mountain. Overall, AMAZING!!!

Visiting Mt Charlestion after a long absence certainly brought back memories. Fletcher View campground was definitely a pleasure and a welcome relief to the hot temps in the valley. Bob & his wife were very courteous and helpful. The sites were clean and the restrooms well taken care of. I am looking forward to our next visit.

We love getting away to the Mountains! As always we had a great time and enjoyed our campsite.
We wish you would open the Kyle Canyon Picnic area for overnight camping and install breakers for RV hookups. You would make a profit in no time. 10 campsites at Fletcher View is just not enough (there are 11 sites but the camp host has 1 of them).
We love to get away for the weekend and camp but all the sites that can be reserves are already taken through the season. Since so many things are done online now why not make all of the camp sites reservable. It isn’t very “camper friendly” to haul our trailer out of storage and up the mountain looking for a site, only to find out all the first come first serve sites are taken. At the very least we should be allowed to pay for a first come first serve spot and then be able to bring the trailer up.
