Wonderful experience on First Day Hiking. Parking pad near zero level is always a super plus. Full hookups [not listed in site reservation] were a Wonderful surprise. Showers were also a surprise. Everything was clean and staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Hoping to do this again next year, but maybe arriving a few days earlier and leaving out on the first... before Quapaw closes for anual cleaning/repair

Aside from the seemingly common complaints about road noise being located beside a fairly busy road, the campground was nice. Close to lots of trails that are challenging enough for those looking for a workout and within hiking distance into town if you want. My site didnt have a tent pad but I made do and also put up my hammock which made for great relaxation time. Electric hookup allowed me to plug in my portable fridge and make some good meals over the grill and campfire. Restrooms and shower facilities were clean. I would definitely return and try to get a site close to the creek to drown out the noise (pun intended).

The hosts were exceptionally helpful, close proximity to Hot Springs (walk on the trail or bike on the roads), trailhead for hiking right there.

Had a quick overnight stay while passing through after visiting downtown Hot Springs NP. Great NP campground! This was actually our first NP campground in our Travato van. Site was fine, we just had to stay forward in the site because it sloped down near the back. Connections were all nice and in working order. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Only problem was we were not given the restroom code when we checked in.

The camp host volunteers keep this place spotless and running smoothly. The location of this campground is the best . You can hike right from the campground to anywhere in the park if you so choose.

We enjoyed our stay here. The campground was well kept with lots of shade. The site was level. There was nice hiking directly from the trailheads by the park. We heard others comment about road noise but we were not bothered by any. The only negative was that the previous campers used the fire pit as a garbage can and it was filled with trash when we arrived. We would certainly stay here again.

Its a beautiful place, and I felt safe. Nice hikes around the campground. I came just for overnight camping, and would like to come back to enjoy the area.

Due to reduced staffing, we were unable to determine exactly which campsite we were supposed to be at the first night. Thankfully we choose the correct site. We were able to contact Recreation.gov the next day to verify which site was for one day and which was for the remaining four days.

Gulpha Gorge Campground is the perfect spot to visit Hot Springs National Park. There is a 1.4 mile trail that leads from the campground to Bathhouse Row and the Grand Promenade. The campground was well maintained and the shower house was very clean. The shower house only accommodates one person at a time so you may have to wait to use the facilities. There is a highly trafficked road right next to the campground that can be quite noisy at night and early morning. Book a spot next to the creek to be farther away from the road.

Nice site if a little close. Good hiking. We were here in December and it made the showers a bit chilly. Good time

The road is a little loud, but not too bad, and mostly quiet at night. Getting a site next to the river would be ideal. The access to trails was great. Only wish they had showers!

We loved this campground! Clean, in nature, hiking trails right from campground. You can even hike into downtown Hot Springs. Bring a pair of water shoes in case you need to cross water to get to trails. Water was a bit high but we were still able to cross over the rock path.

Wonderful place to stay. Campsites are spread out and have trees around them. Great hiking trails, great driving trails, close to bathhouse row. Bathrooms are clean and hosts are friendly.

Beautiful location very close to Hot springs, like maybe 5 mins. There is a wonderful creek thats perfect for smaller children to play in or a great view. Reserve ahead of time! This is a small campground. Other camp grounds are well over 30 mins from hot springs. Only down fall is there are no spots for only tents. So many Full RV hookups will be taken by a two person tent. Otherwise this place is amazing. Bathrooms are older but VERY NICE and VERY CLEAN. 9.5/10 for sure. Will definitely be coming back.

Campground is small and now takes reservations. All sites full hookup but no showers in the bath house. Sites vary from level to very unlevel to mostly level and no way to know what you have. Sites shaded but no privacy. Nevertheless, we would stay again.
