The campground was clean and well taken care of. There were lots of hiking trails right from the campground and the city of Hot Springs was very fun to explore.

Location is great. Can hike park trails right from the campground. Nice shady sites. Restrooms were older but spotless. Great value as well

There wasn't anyone in the welcome center to instruct us on how to get to our site. As a result, we had a difficult time getting into our campsite as it was angled in the opposite direction.

A great, quiet campground in the National Park! We loved the closeness to the creek and the hiking trails. The shower was good and it was nice it was only available for campers.

It's such a beautiful location combined with full hookups quite unique. There were only two spots left when I pulled in with another guy who pulled in right before me. The camp host (Ray) went out of his way to show us how to download the app and claim those two last spots. Would not have happened without him. Thank you!

It is so nice and quiet there. The park is in immaculate shape. It was very clean. The showers are brand new and plenty of hot water.

This is a GREAT park with Fantastic staff.We had an issue putting up our screen room and staff saw that we were having an issue. Two of the maintenance staff came over to assist and shortly after that a ranger also joined in. They were fantastic! The park is beautiful with full hookups. We enjoyed the hiking and took the Gulpha Gorge trail to the Goat trail. Along the way one of the ladies we were with called the ranger station to verify we were going the right way Again staff at this park is amazing.

Very convenient to town of Hot Springs with walking trails which will take you there.Camp sites are ok but not private and there are annoying street lights.Also the 30 amp connection was out of service as was the closest bathroom .

We had an excellent time! Clean restrooms, nice trails, and the camp greeter Stacy was so friendly!! Lovely site with great amenities.

Verizon speeds were 24Mbps download and 23 upload. T-Mobile speeds were 19/2 respectively. AT&T service was unusable with 0.14 down and nothing up. Verizon/T-Mobile speeds taken with a roof-mounted Pepwave antenna. AT&T via phone.The main pros of this place are that it's cheap for FHU and that it's very close to downtown Hot Springs. Otherwise, it's a 2 star park. Not sure what the rave reviews are about if not for the surrounding area and not the park itself.The site spacing is about as cramped as many private parks we've stayed in and the site geometry is not ideal. You end up with a neighbor on 3 sides depending on the site. There is a moderate amount of road noise from US-7 that goes right next to the campground.Our site was reasonably level front to back but off 3 inches side to side. Some scraping tree branches were present on the back end of the pad. No issues with any of the hookups.There are no dumpsters on site, only bear-proof trashcans that can be hard to get normal household trashbags into.No issues with security. NPS rangers drove through multiple times per day.

Gulpha Gorge National Park was beautiful, with many great trails and views for all levels of hiker! Our campsite was perfectly level for our van, and the swimming hole in the river was lovely and very refreshing. The hiking trails only had the odd bit of garbage or dog poop, but I wish that horse droppings were moved off of the trail a bit, but at least those are easy to see. At our time there, the restroom closest to us was closed for renovation, but there was another within easy walking distance. The hot springs are not to be missed, I'd recommend Quapaw Bathhouse!

Water, electric and sewer are great. Campsites are very small. Many are missing fire pits. There is no apology or offer to help from the hosts. Just statement of fact. Campsites are very small and you are on top of your neighbors. A lot of the campsites are unattended but camp hosts refuse to clear out the reservations even if people no-show. What a waste.

Water and electricity are convenient. The soil is a little hard to put sticks in to fix tents.

Such a lovely Campground! There are LOTS of hiking trails with varying length and difficulty.Since Hot Springs NP shares a border with the town of Hot Springs, AR you have easy access to Bath House Row, the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, more restaurants than easily counted, and more.Even though Gulpha Gorge Campground is an older facility it doesn't feel that way. While there are many sites in a relatively small footprint it doesn't leave a "crowded" impression. The CG Hosts are really friendly, and helpful. This area is drop dead gorgeous! Lots of trees, creeks, and spectacular Mountain views. Place this on your itinerary. You likely won't be disappointed!

Close full hookup sites. Sites along stream would be desirable. Hiking trails. Close to Hot Springs- visit museum on Bathouse Row. If you want to soak need to go early in morning or you will have quite a wait as no reservations. Loved the observation tower. Take your water jug to fill up at the cold spring. No showers at campground.
