park volunteer managers are very friendly and keep things looking nice. Be sure to reserve a spot along the creek if you can

Beautiful location but some sites are too narrow for longer rigs because of trees and placement of lamp posts.

Great place to go camping, with its proximity to Hot Springs you can easily hike or drive into town to enjoy the bathhouses or many nice restaurants and shops. The campground was well maintained and the people taking care of it were friendly. The bathrooms were clean, and it was nice having access to a shower. Highly recommend it!

Lovely campground, well maintained however a little short on the number of showers for the number of campsites

Great campground!! Was within hiking distance to the Bathhouse area of Hot Springs. Nice sites. Leveling was a bit of a challenge.

Due to recent snowfall, the sites were not plowed and we could not get in with our motorhome.

I'm a solo, female camper with 50 years of tent experience. Gulpha was the only place I've ever experienced fear of other campers. On 3 seperate occasions (in one afternoon) male campers walked right into my camp site to ask if I needed help. My tent was already set up! One man had kids with him, and the teenaged boys continued to cut through my (occupied) site. When I suggested a different route to one teen, he threw a rock at me/my car. No rangers on site. I believe if there was a stronger ranger presence, this wouldn't happen. I was on guard ALL night, even though I had hundreds of miles to drive the next morning.

An average campground. Give it a plus for having sewer hookups. The sites are all back in, most are pretty short, close together, tight to get into, and a few are not very level front to back. I wont camp there again.

The map did not show that there was another camper directly behind you and there was very little space between your site and the one next to you. The space you did have was on a hill. The campground itself is nice and we would have enjoyed it more on a different site.

Nice, clean campground with electricity, water at each site. Quiet. Close to the national park. Pretty stream and nice trail runs through the campground.

This is the first time I have stayed at a National Park campground and had access to full hook ups! Which was excellent, as the weather was so hot that we needed the air conditioning going all the time. The campground in itself is beautiful, very well kept and the camp host was prompt and available. The only downside of our spot (22) was the leveling - we have a 32 foot Class C and the front had to be raised quite a bit to ensure it was leveled. I would stay here again for sure, but perhaps at the spots facing the creek (they are more leveled).

I moved 6 times for 8 days. Had son in hospital and had to wait around to move to new site and they movedcout at exactly 12 noon.

Hidden gem in Hot Springs, AR. Really appreciated being able to stay in a NP, take advantage of nature and be close to town if we needed something. Super friendly Camp host and clean park.

Beautiful Campground, a bit tight for larger rigs. Not a problem for me as mine is small, but they park their tow vehicles protruding onto the main camp road. New camphost (? Ken) was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about the parks and trails.

It is a beautiful place the park employees were super friendly and helpful ! The camp sites seemed a little to close to each other compared to what we are used to and the noise from the traffic on highway 7 was not great especially the sirens at 1:00am ! Over all it was a good experience but it is not some place we are in a hurry to go back to.

We stayed in Site 22 in our 43' Toy Hauler. The site was a back-in between 2 trees and up a slight incline but no problem and we were in on the first try. This site is near the back-side of the loop near the Ampitheater and a footpath crossing over Gulpha Gorge Creek to some trails. The campground is situated between the Arkansas 7 Spur that runs along the side of the campground and the Gulpha Gorge Creek. There is some road noise but it wasn't bad and it was a short drive into historic downtown Hot Springs. We would definitely stay here again.
