We liked being backed up to the gorge, very peaceful listening to the water. The asphalt is very thick up to 12 inches be careful not to slip off like I did.

Gulpha Gorge Campground is a small but beautiful nature campground. Your camper was back up to the river with a rock cliff wall on the other side, you could hear the water babbling by even in the camper. The site was easy to get into, sites were clean and utilities hook were in great condition. I used the shower/ bathroom, clean and well maintained.Hot Springs a really interesting historical background. We hiked to trails behind the bath houses to the tower, walked the bath house row and drove around the local lake and local area. We had a really nice experience.

The campsite we had was right on the Gulpha Creek, very pretty. Everything we wanted to see and visit was close by. We found the area and people very friendly. I especially enjoyed the Dryden Ceramic Store and the Mc Clards BBQ restaurant. The full hookup on the campsite was a plus.

Small campground with great access to the National Park trails. The sites are small, but the vibe is relaxed. Great location for visiting Hot Springs.

We enjoyed our stay at Gulpha Gorge Campground. Site 40 is along the creek which is nice, but unfortunately, this site has a fire ring that is toward the front of the campsite, close to the road. It would have been more enjoyable to have our campfire overlooking the creek, where it seems all the other sites on that side of the campground had their fire ring. The campground host, (I think his name was Garry), was extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to.

We had this site reserved for several months in advance for my children's spring break. Unfortunately, a pop-up camper took our spot, headed to town and never came back despite our reservation with name being on there. Never saw a Ranger and never saw the people squatting there so had to pack up and go to a hotel.

We visited in January and it was beautiful. Nice sites by the river. If the campground was full it would feel very close but not many people were there so it was nice and quiet.

We love spot 40 at this campground. It backs up to the river and gorge with a great view out of our bedroom window. We also loved that the east mountain trails are all accessible from the campground.

The park was clean and so were the showers. There was heat in the shower which was much appreciated as it did get cold. The sites were good size and mine backed right up to the creek. I wish it would have been warmer so I could have been outside more.

It was a nice enough campground. Clean bathrooms and pretty sites with power and water. We were just disappointed with how commercialized the Hot Springs were.

Helpful and friendly campground host. Sites are back-in and can be challenging as there is a drop-off on the sides from the height of the blacktop (on some sites). We stayed the creekside so very nice to sit outside and listen to the flowing water. Try to get a site near the creek as other sites are close to the road and you can hear the traffic.

The best spots backup to the river at this location. Very shady and close to town to see the sites and sounds of Hot Springs. Some spots are really tight to back into. Clean park. Neighbors are close.

I love the campground, dont love that a lot of the sites are very uneven. We also experienced a camper across the road from us booking three sites and only occupying one site. This was on a holiday weekend. So two more level nicer sites sat unused for three nights and days. All because they didnt want campers beside them! Thats what host told us. This is not fair to other campers. Needs to have rules about occupying sites.

Nice CG with flowing water behind our site. Trailhead at the end of the CG was also nice for hiking the many trails in the Hot Springs Nat'l. Park. within 10 minutes of the downtown, but felt very secluded. Camp hosts were very accomodating since we had some mechanical issues preventing us from leaving by our checkout time. Would definitely recommend this park.

It was cold and rainy the weekend we were there, but even then we enjoyed the park. The water is just beautiful there. We hike there in the spring and fall, the campground is always clean and maintained.

Beautiful, clean, quiet campground. Great access directly from the campground to hiking trails and one leading to Bathhouse Row. We hiked down, toured the quaint town, ate at the local microbrew and were able to take an Uber back to our site!

The second site we were schedule to stay only had a grill and not a fire pit. The grill was old, had large holes so we were unable to use. I would have preferred a fire pit with grill top like we had with our first site.
