campground was very nice and clean , camphost very helpful with getting the right spot . only stayed for 3 nights and it was cold and rainy so didn't get to explore much , it's close to town and other spots in hot springs area , the shower house was well kept and had a lot of hot water , just wish that the heat would of been a little warmer . next time we're in the area we will stay here again

When we arrived to our site 39 and got backed in we noticed the grass was knee high and there was a holly bush growing under the picnic table and to top that there was a tree stump 4 round right in the front door of our camper. This was on a Thursday. Once we got set up, I walked across to the office to let the host know about the grass, they were no where to be found for 4 days . During our stay it was over 100 degrees and next to our camper on the back side was a young man sleeping in the back of his truck. We went down town to eat and when we got back and went inside to watch some TV our camper was full of smoke from the fire pit behind us. We were up all night, who has a fire with 100+ degrees outside. Sunday morning the host comes over to our campsite and says to us she had a complaint Friday about us having our canopy up near the road between the two sites. This was the only place we could put up our canopy and have a shade because of the grass and tree stump in our way. WE WONT BE GOING BACK

Great campground with friendly host and fast response to our maintenance request. Some of the sites can be a little tight to back into for larger rigs, but we loved the campground. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Campground is lovely. Sites are kind of sloped. Rear wheels were slightly off the ground to get level. Sites are fairly close together, but we enjoyed the sound of the stream behind our site. Full hookups were plus. Good access to trailhead from the campground. Campground was clean and well maintained.

We loved all the nice trails we were able to access from the campground. The campground was well-kept and clean. The only downside was that the campsites are so close to each other and close to trees, which made backing into our spot with our 5th wheel, difficult. It's not a giant 5th wheel, 28' but it took a lot of maneuvering to get it in the spot without hitting trees. It's close to the main road, so you hear traffic when you sit out, but there's not much you can do about that.

Nice campground with pretty riverfront views at our sites! Wish there was more staff available but does seem to be becoming just how it is in many campgrounds!

Nice, clean campground, but it does not have many campsites for tents. We had to set up our tent on the driveway pavement between two RVs. If you would like more tent space/privacy, check out nearby Lake Ouachita or Lake Catherine State Parks.

Gulpha Gorge is a beautiful campground in a beautiful location. Hot Springs is a very pleasant place to visit and is even a nice hike to and from to get to. The trails are well marked and well maintained. Don't miss the turn into the park if coming from the south because there is no place to turn around and you will have to drive quite a ways before getting back. Amenities at the RV site (#39) were all functioning as they should and we were able to park our 40 foot fifth wheel and tow vehicle in the site. We will definitely stay at this park again if ever in the area.

Excellent! Campground was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. We did end up with a site without a fire pit (my fault for not reading the description) but it was still very enjoyable. Super close to the downtown area and great walking trails. Bathhouse row was great and we really enjoyed going to Ron Colemans to dig for crystals.

This park has great views and the location is close to Hot Springs. Also, it has some nice hiking trails. However, the spots are very close together and difficult to back in the trailer. Trees, signs and curbs are obstacles. This was our second trip. The first time a tree made backing in tricky and difficult. We tried a different spot on this trip and a street sign was placed right in the way. In the process of avoiding the street sign, we backed over a curb (which shouldn't be an issue) but the curb had been run over so much that it had jagged pieces which immediately punctured our tire. We had to change unhook the trailer right in the street to put on the spare and then go through the whole process of backing it in again. We mentioned our concerns about the curb and street sign to the park host and was told there wasn't anything he could do. Unfortunately, he did not even seem interested. Next, we had an issue with our electrical system in the camper. After 30 minutes of thinking something was wrong with the camper, we realized the 50 amp was not working at the site. Once we switched to the 30 amp plug, all the electronics in the camper were working properly. It would have been so helpful, if the host would have let us know at check-in or put some sort of sign on the box. It turned out to be a pleasant trip in the end and the weather was great.
