The sites were well spaced and neatly maintained. I enjoyed that the bathroom was gently heated (and very clean) on the cold mornings.

We have camped at Gulpha Gorge several times over the years. We have never had any issues and always enjoy our camping experience here.

Very nice campsite. The wastewater pipe at this site no longer had threads so the "donut" would not seal properly. The information on the campground needs to be updated. Some of it states that there is not a shower but there actually is one.

Very nice campsite #34. Had the stream of water behind us with the cliff on the other side of the water. 50 Amp, water and sewer. Close to town. Restroom and shower clean and up to date. 2nd time staying there would stay again.

Nice, simple campground. No showers but full hookups at every site. We had a site on the river and enjoyed it!

Great location, our big rig fit nicely. If stating in November and parked under a tree expect lots of pinging from tree knots hitting the roof and rolling around.

Campsite was not full but we had to move twice and stayed at three sites. Another campers car was broken down so we had to move to another site. Grounds were well kept. Volunteer was very friendly and tried her best to help find another site.

We were in site 41 and we loved it. We have a 33 ft trailer (about 12 feet tall). This site fit our trailer and truck (Ford f350) as long as the truck was a little angled. It was very well taken care of. The only issue my husband saw was where we parked the truck there was a tree with large broken branches that were dangling. He was worried they were going to fall on his truck. Many sites were on top of each other, but there was enough space between us and the next site (left side when facing site) that we didn't feel like they were on top of us. The other side was a little close, but that's not the side we spend our time. I loved sitting by the creek, with my feet up on the rocks, and reading my book. I noticed firepits at different sites were in different locations (right next to the street, next to the creek, somewhere in between). Ours was between the creek and the street. We loved the trails. During our 5 days there we hiked into town one day and visited Superior Baths Brewhouse (the only brewery in a national park), visited the Mountain Tower, enjoyed Quapaw Bathhouse, hiked the entire 11.5 mile Sunset Trail (I am only mildly in shape and it was a tough hike. If you want to attempt 1 of the 4 sections I recommend the section with Balance Rock because there was a great view from there), enjoyed the Mobster Museum, and more. There is also a small theme park just minutes down the road from the campground. It was only my husband and I (both 45 years old), and we can't wait to go back with our boys!

This is a great campsite for a Class B van. We enjoyed the sound is the creek behind us.However, there are some sketchy folks who come through the campground who are not camping there and you will want to be sure to lock up anything of value, especially your bicycles.

The positives: 1. The campground is a nice green space and the stream parallel to the campsites is wonderful to listen to. Now the negatives:1. Surprisingly, there were transients and homeless-like people wandering the campground...I never experienced that in any campground before. This made me feel a little uneasy.2. Throughout the night there was loud banging as though someone was doing their car repairs in the campground. When I still could not fall asleep at 2 AM with the noise, I did not venture outside my tent to find out what the ruckus was. Unfortunately, I do not think I shall ever come back here again.

Lovely, clean well-kept campground. We were there a week. Apparently theft is a problem as the motorhome 4 spaces from ours had their cable lock cut and their e-bikes stolen. On weekends there is a lot of extra non-camping traffic (both car and foot) going through the campground. The people using the picnic area before the campground are not respectful of campsite etiquette and would wander through occupied sites.

This was an awesome campground! The camp hosts and park rangers were very nice and helpful! The park was clean and well-maintained. Sites were paved blacktop and level. Our site was right on the creek and it was very soothing to listen to the water rushing over the rocks. Even through the ice storm the camp hosts were very sweet and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this campground and will make a point to return someday!

Great campground, close to the sights. Rod moose is a little distracting, but we learned to live with that
