Gulpha Gorge is a beautiful campground located right in Hot Springs National Park. All sites have full hookups. They are a bit tight but we and our travel partners 44 5th wheels fit into sites 23 and 25, with a little room left to spare for our trucks. These sites back up to Gulpha Creek. The best part? If you have the America the Beautiful pass, the cost is only $17/night instead of $34. The Gulpha Gorge trail starts right across the creek and is considered a moderate to strenuous trail for .8 miles. This is part of the Hot Springs and North Mountain Trails which you can also reach from behind Bathhouse Row or from Hot Springs Mountain Dr. Lots of hiking trails. Soak in the pools at Quapaw Bathhouse. Stop in at the Ohio Club, the oldest bar in Arkansas.

This is a well-maintained campground with clean restrooms and showers. The spots fill up quick so plan ahead. If you're tent-camping, I recommend securing sites next to the creek. Those are quieter and at night the sound of the creek water is soothing. If you're into hiking, this is a great site with several short and long and easy to moderately difficult trails. This is a campsite that caters to RVs so tent campers are generally less represented here and there is no difference in price. Overall, I still recommend it for the location and the facility, but if you're looking for more seclusion and perhaps a better view of the night sky, then I'd look for another site closer to Lake Ouachita.

Restroom wasn't open in the area closest to campers. No vents/fan, or window open in restroom which made it feel like a sauna. Miserable.

campground was fine. Tight to back in my 25' travel trailer with campsite across the road occupied by large motorhome. No showers is always a negative but known when I made the reservation.

Gulpha Gorge is a smaller campground with a surprising number of RV spots. It is quite a pricey night for no showers, as someone not in an RV. When I visited there was only one restroom open at the front of the campground. Not the worst thing but would have been nicer to have a closer option. I highly recommend getting a spot near the water. It was so nice to hear it while enjoying a camp fire. There are lots of trails that are accessible from the campgrounds.

Great place to stay when visiting Hot Springs Arkansas. You can walk over the "mountain" to the bath house district (take a map, though, because it's not well marked on the trail).

Having park maps at the information building at the campgrounds was very helpful. I really enjoyed having a site along the creek, and it was very handy to be able to hit the trailheads from the amphitheater each day.

Nice campground. Hot Springs is a nice place to visit. Plenty shade and we had a creek running behind our rig.

We were very disappointed in our site. We had taken great care in reserving our site early and chose a site that had a fire pit and a BBQ. When we arrived, there was neither. There were signs that at some point there had been a fire pit, but we were one of the few sites without one. The BBQ was broken (only a stick in the ground was left). We wanted to complain to the hosts, but they were nowhere to be found. We thus had to set up at this site. We complained at the visitor centre in town the next day, but we were told they could not do anything expect ask that we could be compensated (a credit perhaps), but we never heard back from the park or from Recreation.gov. We paid for a certain type of site and did not get what we asked and paid for...very disappointing. As well, one of the main bathrooms was closed for renovations and the other bathroom (much further away) was not clean.

The site by the river was fantastic. The pads were nicely paved and full hook ups were great to have in a National park. Plenty of big trees for shade. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had easy access to a trail across the stream that led to Bath House Row.

This was a great campsite experience. We had a campsite that backed up right to the stream that ran through the campsite. We had a great view and sitting near the stream is very relaxing. The sites are reasonably spaced and the hiking trails were nice. While there you need to go to Hot Springs of course and to the observation tower.

We stayed in a 26ft trailer on site 25. Plenty of space for the camper. On the creek. Fire ring. Sites are very close together. We use the campground for its location to Bathhouse row. Good hiking right from the campsite. Its about the location.

Camp away from the road. Very noisy. Campers near the road told me they were leaving early. No showers. Around 1/2 of the camp spots dont have fire rings. Easy access to hiking trails.
