Bath house row, lots of options for food. Great campfires although the wood was green. Bring an axe. Hiking trails were great.

I had a really nice site that backed up to a creek and close to the shower. Such a nice quiet campground although I have never been on a weekend. Also, I like that its small because I dont like to be far from bathrooms. Good trail access and can easily hike to historic bathhouse row and hang out there too.

had a great site on the creek, small campground so it was quiet even being right next to hot springs ark. a sign on the shower house showing where the other bathrooms are and that they are always open could be a good thing to keep people from banging on the door when you are trying to shower when all they had to do is walk 30 yards to them

Great spot ON the river/creek! Just beautiful! Great hiking. Some sites a bit close together for a national park but understand- not that big an area.

We loved this beautiful campground. There are a few shortcomings: tight turns, trees that make it a bit difficult to park, but it was well worth it. Some sites back right up to the creek, and these require some blocks to level, but most of the others are fine. Restrooms require a code, and each one is self contained with sink, toilet and shower. We were here during a heavy rain storm so couldn't hike. Very shady. A 5-minute drive into the town of Hot Springs - be sure to visit the Bathhouse Row museum. Great German food at Steinhaus Keller.

This was an interesting COE campground. We arrived mid-afternoon to check in and no one was there to check us in. Ever. Not once during our 4 day stay. It was a clean campground but the camping spaces were a bit tight. It took some manuevering to get our mid-sized 5th wheel parked. For the most part it was a positive experience, good neighbors. But there were some who ignored the burn ban in effect that was posted in several places. If anything like a fire would have occured it would have gone through that valley in a flash. Too bad some people are better than others and don't feel they need to follow the rules. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

Gulpha Gorge is a small campground near Hot Springs, AR. Our site was a bit smaller than expected, so we had to park our car in lot across the way. That's not a deal breaker for us. The gorge stream ran right behind our site. The sound of the flowing water is very soothing. The campground is convenient to downtown Hot Springs, I would say less than a 10 minute drive. We ran into some very cold, icy and snowy weather while there, which waylaid some of our plans. We would stay there again.

Nice clean campground. Sites are close together. Not a great place for really long campers. Nice bathroom and showers. We'd stay there again.

Weather was lovely at the beginning of November, making this site comfortable for tent camping! We had a tent set up along the river side of the campground. The camp host was kind and welcoming, and the river was pretty to look at. It's about a 40-60 minute walk to bathhouse row from the campground, depending on how fast you feel like walking. Like other reviews, we could hear the sound of cars driving by on the nearby road, but I think that died down a lot by 9:00 PM. The bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained, and it was nice having a picnic table and grill we could use.

Very close to downtown Hot Springs, with a pretty stream behind us (we stayed in campsite 31 which had good shade that wasn't too dense). Check in was super easy, just find your site and park. The stream helped drown out noises and we couldn't hear the nearby road at all. The campsites were VERY close together but fortunately we had quiet neighbors. Water and electricity, no problems. We went in early March 2024 and one of the two bathrooms were closed for renovation, which would have been nice to know before arrival since our setup doesn't have a toilet. The other campsite bathroom was reasonably clean and never busy. Also, note that there are no showers on site but that was no problem, we went to the bathhouse downtown several times and you can shower there before and after you soak. After all, that was the whole reason we were there! The site itself wasn't particularly cleared out--no trash, but the firepit was about 12 inches deep in old ash and there were deep piles of leaves around the concrete curb at the back of the parking area and all around the site. It just seemed a little abandoned. We were there for 5 days and never saw the camp host, though we did see someone pick up the trash daily. They didn't have wood for sale when we were there, but we were able to find some in the nearby forest and no one seemed to mind local collection. I would stay there again, but not expect more than a convenient campground location and a place to park. For local fun, go to the brewery that sells beer made from spring water, the bathhouse nearest that restaurant, and the botanical garden about 25 minutes away. Also find the free parking lot downtown if you do choose to drive there, it's one block off the main drag near the middle.

Campsites were primarily designated for RVs. There were water and electric hook ups at each site. There is designated fire rings at every site bring your own firewood. The gorge itself beautiful. There are a few small trails within walking distance and a few within driving distance.

I had a great time at this location, I definitely recommend going to fat bottom girls cupcakes, they were on food network and have a lot of affordable delicious cupcakes. I would also recommend making sure you walk the grand promenade. These are two things I missed on my first visit but got to on my second and it was very fun.

Beautiful campground! My only complaint is that the trail from the campground to the downtown area is a bit strenuous. A trolly or shuttle system from the campground to downtown would be awesome!
