Campground was clean, quiet, and located in shaded/wooded area adjacent to a stream and adjoining trails.

The campground was well lit. It was clean and well maintained. It was close to the Hot Springs National Park. We were able to ride our bikes to the park. There are water front lots and hiking trails right behind some lots. It was a perfect campground for the outdoor adventures we wanted. 10 out of 10, we would come back!

Campsite 20 is excellent for a couple of tents! Close to the creek and to the trailhead. The road near the camp can be a bit noisy. Since there isnt a gate at the front there was a constant stream to cars coming through at all hours.

Great place to stay... easy access to the hiking trail system, close to town and clean bathrooms! Highly recommend.

We spent 4 nights on campsite 20 and enjoyed it so much! We would pick this site again! Our site was the first one closest to the trailhead so I expected more foot traffic than we actually had. We had steps right behind the camper that lead to the river Our kids played for hours in the river as it only went to their shins. (even in 50 degree weather) they had a blast hopping from rock to rock. The amphitheater also gave extra room for them to play and I felt safe with them there. We only have a 17 camper van but I imagine it would be a tight squeeze for a larger camper. Showers were kept clean but they were Luke warm - not hot. It was fine though. It rained a ton the day we got there so you couldnt cross the river without getting wet - we walked on the road just past the bridge to get on the sunrise trail and avoid water on our way out and then just walked through the water in our way back for fun. By day 4 the water was back down to where you could cross the river to the trails. We hiked over 25 miles of trails in the area with a 6 and 8 year old and we all enjoyed it so much!! If going in winter just pack light layers as temps get warm and then breeze and shade can change quickly on the top of the mountain. Other reviewers complained of noise at the site. We had no issue with this on the river side.

Great campsite. Bathrooms were clean! Showers were for campers only. Grills and fire rings! Loved the hike into town right from the campground. Host was sweet and helped with electrical problem. Will be back

Site 20 is only slightly challenging to back-in at 25 ft. Perfect access to Oertel Trail and creek. Great value with hook-ups.

Campground was great. Very well maintained and charming. Sites are a little tight together but overall its worth it. Very close to town yet secluded back in the woods along a wonderful creek

Site 20 is great. At the end closest to the trailhead. Site is waterfront but has lots of space. We set up corn hole. Room for extra tents if you needed. Many of the sites next to the creek are very closely spaced and right on the water.

We stayed at Site 20 for the first few days of Thanksgiving week. It was perfect and beautiful. The site was difficult to back in to, but once we did we had a great time.

Beautiful campground, large sites surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas. Deer wandering through the park and orchards to walk over and pick a few apples or pairs.

Its a convenient campground to the main park but is a little loud due to the campground being next to a major roadway.

The scenery and proximity to trails is really nice. The area isnt limited to campers and there were lots of people (non-campers) coming in and out all the time, which made the small campground feel very over crowded. We heard multiple reports of people getting things (e.g., bikes) stolen wheel we were there. If I were to go back to the area, I would choose a private campground.

Nice campground walking distance or short drive to hot springs, arkansas. Plenty of space between sites and many back up to water. Full hookups and i believe all sites are backin. Dont think all sites had fire rings, so check when booking if that is important to you. Host was very nice. CG was booked solid our 4 days beginning of may. Not too hot or buggy. Park has many hiking trails accessible from CG. Town of hot springs has much to do/see/eat/drink. I subtracted a star because CG is on a busy road right on its edge. Its not terribly peaceful. I guess with great location comes traffic. Fyi...i walked many of the trails and the sound of traffic was very hard to escape.

Nice campground. Well taken care of . We were in site 20. It was tough to get in the site because of a tree close to the road. But once we got set up very nice . Plenty of shade, creek right BR hind the site. The park is very close to everything. Seemed like a lot of people stop in there passing through. Campground emptied out just about every day.

Lovely quiet campground right in the national park. Our site 22 was right on the creek. It was a little tight for our 32' motorhome. I had to maneuver a bit to get backed in and there wasn't much space to park our Jeep tow.
