Camp host were excellent Barry and Brian. Overall experience was exceptional. Park was gorgeous. The area is accessible and we will come back. My only minimal issue was the shower house did not seem to actually get cleaned/sanitize although the trash was emptied the toilet paper was refilled and the facility is fantastic. We are already planning a return trip for the end of this year

Small for a national park, but the campground was nice

32 was level, clean and had a nice layout. The pad is narrow, so I disagree that two vehicles can fit. My trailer doesn't have slides, but I had to park my truck sideways in front of the trailer. The bathhouse is your door side neighbor and is close by. The bathhouse was very clean. The entire campground was clean, well-kept and quiet.

Stopped at Gulpha Gorge for 1night while making our way to the southwest. Bathrooms and facilities were well maintained and clean. On our visit the overnight temperatures were down to 12 degrees so we didn't explore the area. The sites are a little shallow and offer some challenge when backing in but that can be said for all older parks.

Nice campground; very clean, everything kept up & working. One thing to note: the septic access was at the back & you will probably need 2 hoses to use it. (I got a helper so i could hold it in place while he opened the dump valve). Also, the road can get quite a bit of traffic in the morning & several trucks were very proud of the noise they made.

We were in a tent and so did several others. The bathroom had one stall and the shower combined so if someone was taking a shower you couldnt use the bathroom. I found it to be very difficult. It was a nice campground otherwise.

I love this location. Full hook ups and heated water lines for the cold weather. BE CAREFUL. Some of the sites are pretty uneven, so double check with the pictures to make sure you will be able to level. The worst ones are for smaller vehicles/tent campers and they will be fine. We are in a 35ft class a, and there are definitely several sites we would not be able to use. They have some emergency sites, but a little extra research and checking the pictures should help you make sure its not an issue. Site is also close to town, and most of the restaurants are within a couple of miles...meaning door dash or uber eats should be able to get anything in town to you.

It was great! The campground is clean and well maintained. The camp hosts where very nice! The bathrooms have flush toilets and sinks, no showers, and every site has water, electric, and dump. Every site has a firepit and picnic table. We had a fire every night! I wish the camp hosts could sell firewood, instead of needing to go into town to get it, so maybe that can be an improvement in the future!

This is a Beautiful Park! It is under construction right now, but that never bothered us. It was just during the day when we were out exploring. When we were there, it wasn't loud. The dump is no longer functional. We had full hookups. I don't know if they intend to make all the sites full hookups. But the ones that were opened were full hookups. We were in site 32 which is the first site at bathrooms. There is good space between the two. But, these bathrooms were closed, under construction. So, no showers. Our site had minimal leveling required. There is a beautiful drive here taking switchbacks up the mountain to an observation tower. You can take the trails or drive up. This was one of my favorite National Park Campgrounds. We were in a gorge, so our phones were sketchy. With our senior pass, we were able to get our site half price. This park was hard to get into and I had to keep waiting for someone to cancel. We would have stayed longer if able to book. Maybe after construction when they open the whole park back up. Would definitely stay here again!!

We never could get our national senior pass discount for our camping nights there. Nobody could help us in person, and I did not feel like trying to reach somebody on your telephone number. It's frustrating. The campsites are too close together and very very very unlevel. The videos we see online do not depict the real experience of the park. The trash bins are too small for a tall kitchen bag of trash. You have to squeeze it in and halfway into your bag just to get it in there. If there are other trash bins, I certainly couldn't find them. The campsites along the road should have more greenery, or some thing to try to prevent some of the sound of the busy highway behind us. If you want, just a parking spot to be able to quickly get into Hot Springs to be a tourist, it would be OK; but as a camping experience, it was not pleasant. No fire rings at a "mountain" national park seems absurd.

We liked the campground quite a bit. Great location. Wish the area had showers and photos of the campsites. The one I saw online was not the one we got! So beware the photos are not correct.
