Love this campground. This spot is away from the river but was good for an overnight stop. Like many national park RV campgrounds the spot is not level, by a long shot. Bring your leveling blocks, you will need them. That said, I was able to level our rig. Gorgeous National Park campground near an urban area.

Nice campsites. Beautiful trails for hiking. Could have used more showers, may be crowded in the busy season

I always enjoy staying at Gulpha Gorge Campground. I tent camp from a motorcycle, so the addition of the shower building was much needed!

This is urban camping. Campground is right next to a road that is active all night. Would only recommend for those that are hard side camping.

The site was so undeveloped we left after one night. We could not get the camper level in a safe way. As my wife was standing on the driver side of the camper a limb from a dead tree fell and just missed her by a few feet.

Very steep. Hard to get camper level. No above ground grill just on fire ring. Bathroom smell is very strong. Good campground overall just be careful picking a site. A lot of sites are very un-level and pitched to one side. Hard to level campers without a lot of cribbing. Very close to a very busy road so noise may be a factor also. A lot of day traffic uses picnic area at camp entrance. No staff at hospitality house and app would not let me check in or out per instructions at hospitality house. Had to find camp staff who had to do it for me.

This was a great campsite so close to the main attraction. The Sunset Trail is also right there. We had full hookup and everything worked well. We went into town twice and spend 1 day hiking. I would definitely stay here again.

Although there are flush toilets and sinks with running water, there is only one male shower and one female shower. There is no laundry and no dish washing sink. The camping spots are decent size and there is a dumpster for trash. We did see Park Rangers a few times while we were there.

Gulpha Gorge is a great state park. Very clean, nice facilities. The scenery is fantastic! It is one of our favorite places to stay!

Clean and close to town. Spent the bulk of our time in Hot Springs and not much in the campground. I would definitely go there again.

Despite there only being one available campsite, it was nice having close access to the rest of the park. This campsite is primarily for RV's, however, tents and car camping are allowed. This is a small park, and it's in the middle of the town, Hot Springs, so keep that in mind when making your reservation. Flush toilets are available, along with wifi. My only complaint is that my firewood was stolen by someone from my site. In all, I had a great experience, and the camp host was very helpful.

Gulpha Gorge is great. Its very clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms are very clean.

All was clean and campground convenient to hiking trails and camp host was excellent. Next to creek so that was scenic. If I had to be picky, the location is near a major road, so frequent traffic noise.

Nice quiet park. Lots of hiking trails clearly marked. Parking spots are a little unlevel and there are no showers but otherwise a nice place. There is so much to do and see around Hot Springs.

Very good experience. Only thing better would be if there were showers, but we fully understood in advance. Another small thing: Office was closed and sign said proceed to site and a ranger or host would come by. After two days, no one had so we went to host site and introduced ourselves. Very laid back.

This was our second stay at Gulpha Gorge. We enjoy it for its easy access to Hot Springs and the hiking trails.
